That means there will be plenty of hospital beds available and the emergency is _over_.
Nothing to be concerned over. Some of us are waiting for 3+ years. Call it “research”. You know...until we don’t see people walking around with tails, 3 ears etc.
One thing it means is that the ‘experts’ didn’t do themselves any favors by suspending the J&J vaccine. Did they REALLY THINK there wouldn’t be a fallout from that?

That depends on what the latest numbers are for infections and hospitalizations. Of course that number probably will probably be affected by of all the illegal amigos that have it and are being released into the US.

Herd immunity is not solely based on vaccinations.
Between the 100mm vaccinated and those who had it already....we are fast approaching herd immunity.
All these people clamoring for everyone to get the jab for herd immunity seems to forget to add the number of people who've had covid to the number of jabbed people. I would think we're pretty close to 70% having had either covid or the jab.
Still, they want people who've had covid to get the jab which makes no sense.
They want young people to get the jab to protect old people. Thing is, they can still get covid and with the jab. be even less likely to know they have covid. How does that protect older people? It doesn't. There's another game afoot. Since the things above won't change anything, there must be another agenda. Obedience and control. COVID passports. Tracking.
There is no shortage of hospital beds. There hasn’t been for some time in most places.
We were checking out at Sam’s Club yesterday, and heard a voice over the loudspeaker saying “Come and get your Covid vaccine. No appointment necessary.” She said they had Moderna and J&J, all ready for jabbing into arms if anyone is willing.
Far cry from a month ago.

The truth is the goalposts have moved to now nobody is allowed to be sick from CoVid or anything else mildly resembling that.
A friend of mine passed last week from Covid. He was 77 and he had the jab.
Actually, with herd immunity, people have been exposed to covid and made antibodies due to that exposure WITHOUT being vaccinated. CDC has said 60% of population already has immunity without vaccine.
So, herd immunity plus millions being vaccinated is pretty good.
And masks should no longer be required.
We’ll reach herd immunity anyway. It’ll just take a little longer.
