Thanks for the reminder Patrice. So, if(?) and when you are forced to defend yourself, and if a firearm is used by YOU, it will simply further their push for gun control/confiscation. After all, controlling law abiding folks is a lot easier than controlling the criminal element. Then leading to a national police force. Locally, maybe just parking and litter violations. Maybe a "simple expansion" of the fbi? I certainly can't fault a lot of the younger cops. Without backing from your administration, you're sitting ducks for prosecution for doing your job. F.I.D.O.

I would think it would have the opposite effect; more people defending their homes and immediate neighborhoods.
