Four inches of rain overnight and rain all day but we have never even been threatened with floodwaters. It rained most of today, also. A total of seven inches thus far. The rain is supposed to continue tomorrow. We are in good shape and the plants are loving all of the rain. ;-)

Yes, it will, and hopefully, good ol’ mother nature won’t have more little surprises up her sleeve.

Dang!!! You’ve been hammered! I’m surprised, and glad, you haven’t had flooding. Have you planted goodies in the garden this year? If so, they’re probably lovin’ the rain and there’ll be some good eatin’ later on.

Mother Nature loves throwing out surprises. LOL I’m not holding my breath on there being no more this year. Just hoping there aren’t any big whollops.

So many appointments but hopefully all productive.

Speaking of HER, I hear thunder and after looking at the radar, I see a big rain cloud just southwest of us. So we might get wet again. Oh, and I just got a lightning alert.
Remember when you knew there was going to be lightning when you heard thunder? And you didn’t need your phone to tell you about it? LOL!

I love being able see the military planes when they not only fly close, but directly overhead. When I hear them I go out on the deck and try to find them.

Darn the luck that big batch of rain is passing west of town. But there’s still stuff between Big Lake and you that might get there.
I still don’t have a cell phone to tell me it’s going to rain or there’ll be lightning. LOL I just check the radar and if there’s rain in the area, I keep fingers crossed for luck that it will get here.

12. Helium (50-1)
Trainer: Mark Casse
Jockey: Julien Leparoux
Current Form: One of three horses with unblemished records. Ballooned to 3-for-3 after stretching longer and taking the Tampa Bay Derby.
Worth a Wager? Lightly raced, but he has done everything asked of him. Upgrade in talented opponents as well as distance issues lead to his first loss. Seventh.
