Dang!!! You’ve been hammered! I’m surprised, and glad, you haven’t had flooding. Have you planted goodies in the garden this year? If so, they’re probably lovin’ the rain and there’ll be some good eatin’ later on.
No vegetables this year, only flowers and plants. I am still uprooting green beans from two years ago. They are very stubborn and tried to take over the whole garden.
This year are roses, climbing roses, new hibiscus seeds which is supposed to have exceptionally large flowers, pisquala, confederate jasmine, A flowering plant from East Africa whose name I do not know, Colocasia ( elephant ears, ) white caladiums, red caladiums, peach mandevilla, burgundy mandevilla, papaya trees, gauyava trees and a mulberry tree. I am hoping to plant a few fruit trees.
Surprisingly, the burgundy hibiscus came up even after the hard freeze and snow. The seeds of this hibiscus have propagated, too.
I did plant some bell pepper seeds but I do not know if they will sprout. I do not know why but I really like bell peppers. ( As an aside, bell pepper is truly a diet food. It takes more body energy to digest and process bell pepper than the nutrients in the food. Eat bell pepper and lose weight! ;-) )
