From what I read, you’re going to be running out to your deck a lot the next couple of weeks. LOL I should have kept the link that was posted to one of your news station’s sites about the big military exercise that’s gearing up.
It’s going to keep the cam ops busy following the planes that fly close enough to Lake Hood to be in view. It’ll be fun to watch. There were several today.
You have a gorgeous sunset going on right now. Pink, orange, and turquoise sky.
Be sure to support these artists and attend their concerts when they come to your area.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Yep, the thunder died and the rain tiptoed around us. Well, maybe if it comes again in a week, it would be better. That way, we could go another week without spending money on watering. It really gets expensive!
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
What did Gizmo drag you through yesterday? Thorny trees? Rocks? :-)
Those rain bands are moving SE to NW and there’s still rain SE of you. You might still get a little before the night’s over.
It would be nice if a similar system cranks up next week so you won’t have to water the lawn.
We can hope. And now that the guys have the corn planted, we can hope they get just the right amount to make it grow fast so you can enjoy a season of privacy.
Now I’d better go. I was in the middle of a movie and forgot to watch the time. See ya tomorrow night!
All we can do is what we do every year - - hope for good weather for the crops and a good yield in the fall. It’s always a gamble.
You betcha we’re looking forward to the privacy later this summer. :-)
You’re gonna be a bonafide vampire like me before much longer. LOL You’ve stayed up mighty late this past week.
With a beautiful day like you had, it’s no winder there was a crowd. I see Gizmo managed to find a smelly spot to roll in. LOL
Looks like it MAY happen! :-)
Thank you. Check the other two links I posted.
Where’s the NFAC outside the gates?
Where are the BLM markings all over the jockeys and stands?
Where is the kneeling for all the Saints that died for black rights this past year?
I see that garbage again, it’s ignored.
I have no clue what’s going on in current racing, since they proved racist and condescending.
No vegetables this year, only flowers and plants. I am still uprooting green beans from two years ago. They are very stubborn and tried to take over the whole garden.
This year are roses, climbing roses, new hibiscus seeds which is supposed to have exceptionally large flowers, pisquala, confederate jasmine, A flowering plant from East Africa whose name I do not know, Colocasia ( elephant ears, ) white caladiums, red caladiums, peach mandevilla, burgundy mandevilla, papaya trees, gauyava trees and a mulberry tree. I am hoping to plant a few fruit trees.
Surprisingly, the burgundy hibiscus came up even after the hard freeze and snow. The seeds of this hibiscus have propagated, too.
I did plant some bell pepper seeds but I do not know if they will sprout. I do not know why but I really like bell peppers. ( As an aside, bell pepper is truly a diet food. It takes more body energy to digest and process bell pepper than the nutrients in the food. Eat bell pepper and lose weight! ;-) )
No prob, Mommy! ;-)
Let’s see if your new nick takes off! LOL
It is good that y’all got 2.75” of rain which the desert really needed. However, I still remember the cold, winter winds which would actually rock the platforms and be bitterly cold. ;-)
Yesterday was the Kentucky Oaks, first leg of the Triple Crown for Fillies, also at Churchill Downs.
If one of the colts identifies as a filly, can he run in the Oaks?
It sounds like your yard is going to be gorgeous with all you’ve planted this year. I hope we’ll get to see a few pix later o when things are blooming.
I hear ya on the green beans. LOL I planted some several years ago and they went crazy.
I didn’t know that about bell peppers. Dang. I love them, too, but maybe I don’t need to eat them. The last thing I need to do is lose weight!
Lovely! Thanks, Dude!
