The family of Ashli Babbitt—the only person shot during the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol—plans to sue the U.S. Capitol Police department, and the officer who shot her, for at least $10 million, their attorney said.
The civil suit will follow a decision by federal prosecutors not to seek criminal charges against a plainclothes police lieutenant whose single shot killed Babbitt, who was unarmed.

I think the Capitol Police should have identified the shooter, whether or not he is David Bailey.
If it turns out to be Bailey, then the Capitol Police will probably explain that they could not release Bailey's name because they were afraid that he would be lynched by Trump supporters. The MSM will take that slander seriously, and will view it as a perfectly adequate justification for the stonewalling.
If it is the case that Senators and Pence were sheltering past the blocked doors she was trying to enter with the crowd, this is going nowhere.
