The mouthpieces at the CDC, however, were clearly opposed to Atlas’s thinking. During the 2020 lockdowns and reopening controversies, former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield said that “everything [Atlas] says is false.”
Fauci also hinted that while most of the COVID task force seemed to be on the same page, there was an obvious “outlier.” The people lobbing these criticisms, Atlas said, are motivated by the attention they are granted by the media and are “simply used to groupthink and not to informed people who have a critical thought process.”
“The CDC has many fine scientists, I am sure of that, but when the head of the CDC held up a mask and said a mask is better than a vaccine, that is absurd. That is not science. That is contrary to all rational thought,” Atlas noted.
The left’s corporate media mouthpieces also took cues from these critics and repeatedly hammered Atlas for recommending schools and cities reopen amid the pandemic, avoiding masking except for in certain instances, and advocating against silencing scientific dissent. A former Obama official even called for Atlas to lose his medical license.
While Atlas repeatedly pointed to data that signaled “one of the biggest failures of the faces of public health in this country” was extended lockdowns, Big Tech also stepped into the fight to censor him for pointing out that evidence for widespread mask use was shaky and should only be applied in certain situations with high-risk situations individuals. Google-owned YouTube removed an interview with Atlas discussing how government-imposed lockdowns were doing more harm than good for allegedly violating its terms of service.

Fauci runs a couple miles every day and says he does NOT wear a mask unless approaching someone. And he said this months ago. And that was BEFORE he was vaccinated.

If you're outside and wearing a mask, why do you care if someone else is not wearing a mask? Is your mask not working? I was on a recreational trail on Monday. In 30 minutes I pass about 10 people - only 1 was wearing a mask and he was on a bicycle.
But you still need to wear two masks according to the weasel.

Not ALL health advisors seem to be doing this. In TEXAS, where citizens are free from masks -doctors and nurses continue to push the DS BS propaganda.
This week, on 2 occasions: opportunity to enter a Texas
hospital for lab tests. While attempting to answer questions from the lab assistant, pulled my mask to better cover the nose and attempt to speak (to be understood). She was NOT pleased and told me it must be worn in a certain way at ALL times while in the hospital.
Later in the week, while visiting with my doctor (a RNP for usual doctor), was told my cholesterol numbers had risen slightly, though still
in the accepted range. Was told to cut back on my RED MEAT
INTAKE.
TRUST NO ONE.
Cutting back on red meat will decrease testosterone. Exogenous cholesterol is usually not the culprit. Endogenous is not. Even my numbers went up after the change as with all ladies. My entire life super low numbers, then one year.. up they go. I have been considering going to a functional medicine dr.. but its one of those places, if you have to ask how nuch, you prob can’t afford it.
Actually, my mom fought HC until she died. Three years ago
the doc put me on Repatha/Niacin telling me it would make me free from such worries and the pain of the statins. As a copy of the lab report was not given to me - will be calling them to request a copy (I failed to ask when there). She specified that while still within accepted range, she was ‘alarmed’, thus the reference to cut the red meat. Thought it strange and timely. Just my antenna or my conspiracy theory brain? Will phone them tomorrow and IF they fail to send a copy ... there will be a chapter two.
I believe it is a real virus but it could have been better controlled with outpatient therapy. Any illness can be fatal if left untreated. (A lot of pneumonia was listed as Covid as cause of death). They wanted the deadly results.
