For the Nazi’s to take power in Germany, one of the first thing they had to do was take over control of the various States’ independent police forces. Herman Goehring was put in charge of Prussia’s police force, and filled it with Nazi Party members. It later was turned over to Himmler and became the Gestapo.

When I read this, I immediately envisioned a Participation Trophy kid who majored in Life Studies and it now living in their parent's basement. This clown has no concept of how the real world works.
Prediction: They will *not* abolish police.
What they are really trying to do is abolish local police departments and have a national police. To protect and serve the politically connected and bust gun owners, etc. And still kill blacks when they feel the need, but without the publicity.
They won’t have to abolish the police. The police are quitting en masse and they’re going to have a hard time finding ANYONE honest and decent to replace them

Getting rid of the nation’s police is the obvious first step in the communist revolutionaries’ aim of overthrowing the (Capitalist) system. That is ALL that this is about.
Let’s do a quick experiment in Liberal Big Cities for 1 year. Hire social workers to police the city instead of cops. If crime goes down and tranquility up, we can look at changing. (bah hah hah hah hah!!!!)
Treat the police like valued members of society and you can get away paying a reasonable wage to do the job. Make the job an unappreciated hazardous hell where bunker mentality is a must, then you will have to pay a lot and settle for worse applicants. Thats just cause and effect.
The one thing I think this will do is to offer a fig-leaf of legitimacy to jurisdictions that want to cut their payrolls and the cost of paid retirements. This way it looks like an exciting (boy, you’re telling me!) foray into cutting edge policy rather than draconian cuts that will end badly.
Hopefully this will all result in people spreading out instead of all clumping up on the coasts.
