I’ve considered putting mine up for some absurd number (e.g. 40% over current market value) just to see what happens.
I’m shocked at what homes in my neighborhood are going for. What hurts is the property taxes. I have a very modest 3 bedroom home and stupid prop taxes.
Better have a place to move to. You might get it.
If your house was in any of the NYC suburbs, you’d probably get it and they’d be bidding on the sidewalk out front. Houses are selling in hours and the buyers are showing up with nothing more than their clothes. Opting to leave everything shine in NYC.
There are 114 homes in Tuscaloosa for sale. I think there are 700 real estate agents. Someone told me we could name our price for our place here. We will have 3300 sf after our bedroom addition is finished, another house with 1000 sf, and 36 acres of land, with a big barn and two other buildings. Maybe we can retire!
