A co-worker just returned to work. After getting the first dose. He suffered dizziness and extreme headaches four days later. He spent a day and a half in the hospital complete with ambulance ride.
I really hope the company opts out of mandatory vaccinations.

Many of these state executives don’t believe that vaccine passports coming to their states through private business are a threat to liberty, and believe they have neither the authority to restrict businesses and institutions from enforcing mandates, nor the moral duty to protect students, machinists, camp guides, waiters, and the rest of us from business mandates.

There’s the dilemma facing anyone these days. Whose “liberty” is the author interested in protecting — the worker’s or the business owner’s? It seems that these two are in conflict, and the author doesn’t address this at all.

I’d also point out that business owners don’t impose these stupid vaccine mandates because they’re iron-fisted dictators. They impose them to cover their asses and protect themselves from lawsuits if/when their employees get sick. How many of the political leaders railing against vaccine mandates have stepped up and laid out a plan for shielding business owners from COVID-related lawsuits?

If a vaccine requires endless boosters, it’s not a vaccine.

Just got into an argument with a relative who thinks these Red States are immune from COVID mandates.

I explained to him that national companies, such as the major airlines, will mandate masks (and most likely vaccination passports) to fly anywhere, including in and out of the most red areas in the country. Restaurant chains will do same: Want to work at a MacDonald’s in Sheridan Wyoming? You’ll need a vaccination passport. Want to watch a movie at an AMC theater in Dallas, Tx? You’ll need a vaccine to do so.

That is who will control the issue, no matter where their franchises are located.

Every state government could easily defeat any corporation’s attempt to force vaccination. All medical procedures and medications are private, via the HIPAA act — I forget the bloody year it came out. Regardless, any activity between you and any doc is private. Got an STD? No ones business. Even your partner in some areas! Get treated for a mental disorder? MYOB! Unless you are an executive upon which a company has a huge investment (i.e., and your kicking off without warning is irresponsible) your medical background is no ones business — by Federal law.
So, every goverment could simply send out a public letter to all companies operating in their state (i.e., ignore corp headquarters — operating even a branch office requires following state law)that HIPAA will be enforced. Leave it at that. Even a raving loony lefty won’t challenge that as they were the ones pushing for HIPAA.

The imputation of long term effects on fertility by the COVID vaccines is just idiocy. All vaccines work by provoking the immune system. These just work by tricking some cells into making proteins associated with the virus. Those cells will then be destroyed by the immune system. We've had over 50 million people vaccinated. If there were some additional danger from these vaccines (above and beyond the dangers associated with almost all vaccines) we'd know about it already.

Yes: some people will feel quite ill for a while after getting the vaccine, which is no different from many regular vaccines. A tiny number will get blood clots. An even tinier number will die, just as with any vaccine.

The notion that these vaccines pose some special risk to reproductive cells is just nonsense.

Lawyers are going to get rich.
https://topclassactions.com/coronavirus-covid-19/1011610-no-jab-no-job-how-could-a-mandatory-covid-19-vaccine-affect-my-rights/

Mandating use of EXPERIMENTAL INJECTIONS(only approved under EUA) will have legal repercussions. Should the legal system fail, I would look for survivors to hold company executives and their families personally responsible for injury, disability, and/or deaths associated with forcing these on employees.

And more: https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/first-lawsuit-challenging-mandatory-7190156/

How about an OSHA recordable if employee-vaccination causes injury? “OSHA states that if you require employees to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine, any side effects from the vaccine will create a recordable event and you have an obligation to include that information on your OSHA 300 log. If you only encourage the vaccine, you will not have that obligation.”

You know, my opinion of the Left is so low that I suspect that sooner or later, if not already as happened a few times we know of from China at the start of this, there will be a kind of Covid tourism where contagious people go to ge around folks that they don’t like.

Two things, both of which should worry anyone skeptical of injecting a novel vaccine with little-to-no long-term testing for possibly serious negative effects.

I just got back from seeing my primary care physician for a sinus infection. He told me that he had Covid back in March of 2020 and is still showing a strong antibody load. He had intended not to get the jab, but reluctantly accepted it a few weeks ago, because the hospital required it as a condition of his privileges. He told me that the vax should not be administered before it's been studied for at least three years, and preferably five.

The pharmaceutical companies have immunity to lawsuits regarding the vaccine.

Any person or company or entity requiring vaccination should not have immunity.

I’m curious as to how they can legally require a treatment that doesn’t yet have full FDA approval?
