To be fair to the idiot officer who shot Dante Wright, the male cop who had Wright out of the car completely fluffed putting the cuffs on and she ran up to try to help him before Wright could start resisting. Watch the footage closely. Up to that point, she was doing things right. After that, well... not so much.
I almost noted that in my post. Either of them should have been able to at least grab clothing or an arm and introduce Daunte to the pavement or the roof of his car.
