Thank you. Right after that event, we bought her a 9mm S and W. It's very light and, I think, built for women. They even had enough ammo so we can use it. The important thing is she can handle it with ease.
Telling women to get a revolver these days is a bad idea, especially for older women. Revolvers have neither the recoil mitigation nor the ammo capacity needed for modern self defense engagements. Rate and volume of fire is even more important these days.
