Good. I’m outa here by 2023.
Car companies manufacturing it is one thing; other states being forced to comply is another. If I live in a state that doesn't have pollution bowls like Los Angeles, who the hell are the dimwits in my state to mandate that I have California emission standards and mileage? I'd prefer to rip out that nonsense and sell the parts to a California car owner.
Let Californians run on soy oil in bamboo cars. There's no reason I can't run a diesel with a blower and twin turbos.
Is your company pulling-up stakes?
But CA, with the biggest state population, will have the most influence. Now if both Florida and Texas can coordinate on relaxed standards, that could perhaps have a good effect.
That is what I am talking about - several states coordinating their efforts to counter the actions of one state. Imagine every “Red State” joining such an effort.
I am not sure.
