Former President Trump is ditching his Palm Beach club Mar-a-Lago for the summer, hoping to escape the stifling Floridan summer for the cooler climes of his Garden State golf club.

Mar-a-Lago closes just after Memorial Day when most Palm Beach residents leave the muggy weather for the Hamptons or Europe, but the weather isn’t the only reason Trump wants to head north for a few months, according to Insider.

“They’re moving the whole operation to New Jersey because they’re going to start doing more fundraising,” one Trump advisor told the site.

My since passed brother was a contractor that lived in West Palm and his business was the best during the months after May because all of the rich snow birds wanted their mansions repaired when they were elsewhere.

If you can afford to live there, and have other places to live, why not?

His golf course in Bedminster NJ is absolutely beautiful. I saw it during the Women’s US open. My daughter and nephew met Barron Trump there during the tournament and got some selfies with him.

Trump took DeLorean’s old estate and turned it into a master piece.

I don’t think there is any golf course in the north east that can beat it.

I also attended the US women’s open at Trump Bedminster It was probably the most beautiful golf course the LPGA ever played on. It was in immaculate condition.

There a lot of cooler places to be in summer than New Jersey. How about spending summers in some red mountain states?

This concerns me. Money comes with strings. Raising funds in NJ comes with the wrong strings. Perhaps Trump and Americans would be better served if Trump moved to Nebraska for the summer.
