JAPAN has been warned to stay out of any future conflict between China and Taiwan or face a "beating", by a leading Chinese journalist.
Mr Suga would later insist that the White House announcement did not "presuppose military involvement at all", after returing to Japan.
In an op-ed for the Chinese state tabloid Global times, Hu Xijin called the Japanese premier's clarification a "wise" move, but said there were still some radicals who wanted to "act conceitedly on the Taiwan question."
The newspaper's editor-in-chief continued: "We must tell those arrogant Japanese radicals: If a war breaks out in the Taiwan Straits and Japanese Self-Defense Forces implement military intervention to follow the US, then they will definitely become the target of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
"The deeper they are involved, the harder they will be hit, or even much harder.
"If their bases on Japanese soil act as vanguards, then those bases will be hit as well.
"They should completely drop their illusion of interfering in the Taiwan question."
He ominiously added: "Once something goes wrong in the Taiwan Straits, stay away or else you are asking for a beating."
Beijing is growing increasingly anxious about the strengthening ties between Tokyo and Washington under the Biden administration.
Defence chiefs from both countries agreed in March to cooperate closely if China decided to attack and invade Taiwan.
Tokyo is also considering plans to allow its Self-Defence forces to protect US warships and military planes in the region in the event of a war between China and Taiwan.
Beijing has never recognised Taiwan as an independent country and insists that it is a part of China.
Last Tuesday, China's Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng fired off the latest salvo of stark warnings about Taiwan's independence.
In an interview with the The Associated Press he reiterated that Beijing "will never allow Taiwan to be independent."
Sometimes I wonder why we helped China against the Japs in WWII.
The level of arrogance from these chinese dickheads is annoying.
Make Taiwan Formosa Again. ;)

What I have read from Asia is Japan has emphatically stated it will not become involved in the China/Taiwan dispute if it escalates. I believe almost nothing from Western media anymore.
Japan was deathly afraid the Battles of Khalkhin Gol. The war in Asia could have ended before the war in Europe.
Japan's Supreme War Council decided to surrender hours after the Russian Army started slicing through Japan's mainland territory. Not because we dropped another atomic bomb on them, after we had already reduced most of their cities to rubble with conventional bombing.
Just like in Europe, the Japanese also knew it was a far better outcome to surrender to the United States, than the Soviet Union.
Taiwan and Japan alone could stop a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
At great cost.
At the time, it was the right thing to do. Then Mao and the communists over ran the free Chinese and Chang Ky Chek and pushed them to Taiwan. New times new priorities. If we fight, it better be with the free Chinese. Study Claire Chennault and the Flying Tigers.
They sure had a funny way of thanking us.
Between the Korean, and Vietnam wars, not to mention the fact that they tried to kill our pets with melamine not too long ago, and coupled with the innumerable diseases they have released upon the world over the years, China is responsible for the deaths of many U.S. citizens. Why it hasn't been wiped off the face of the earth yet is beyond me. Just like the GOP, there is nothing redeemable about China. Blow the bastards to smithereens. I've got my own wok, and can make my own stir fry, thank you.
“I like the way you think, I’m gonna be watching you.”
Japan is in a tough spot no doubt. For example, China can go nuclear on them, but they can't reciprocate. But if they see China go after Taiwan, and possible the Philippines, they are left to wonder if the crocodile eats them last.
And Japan has to wonder if the U.S. will go to war with China, if China goes after them. And it's likely the answer is not in their favor.
How do you see that playing out?
The Chinese to thank us are in Taiwan not in Beijing. There ain’t nothing funny about Japan and free Taiwan facing down Chinese communist.
We helped the Chinese that are now on Taiwan.
Japan and Taiwan have the technical ability to produce nuclear weapons in very short order and also have the fissile fuel. The have not due to being under the “nuclear umbrella” of the United States. I myself doubt that nuclear umbrella of a senile and China comprised President Biden. They would be fools not to develop nuclear weapons.
Neither can defeat China in war. Both with nukes could make the cost of war too dear thus China would not invade Taiwan nor disputed Islands of Japan, Philippians and Vietnam.
Thus a small nation as Taiwan or a large nation such as Japan could cause much devastation and death to China. Just think of just few nuclear bombs of 250 Kilotons. Peking gone and just the next five centers of power and commerce gone. Central control gone. China would collapse.
Then the great killing would happen. As the central goverment collapsed the oppressed would kill. It would not be pretty.
Odd is it not that a small nation as Taiwan or a large nation such as Japan has the ability to destroy China with just a few nuclear weapons. They would destroyed also. Thus China would not attack a nation prepared to do this.
Would they had bombed Pearl Harbor, had we not got on their case about invading China?
Aren’t the Chinese basically doing what the Japs wanted to do anyway, The Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere?
It would take Japan about 15 minutes to make nukes
Unit 731.
Look it up and enjoy.
