Rep. John Katko is facing a serious threat to his political future after Onondaga County Conservative Party members decided they will no longer support the four-term Republican.
The party committee said it won’t endorse Katko next year because of his January vote to impeach Donald Trump and other recent votes supporting measures opposed by conservatives.
“While we believe he is acting in what he feels best represents the needs and wants of his constituents, it is clear that he no longer accepts or supports the values we hold dear,” the Onondaga County Conservative Party said in a statement.
“We will be recommending to our state chairman, Jerry Kassar, that we would prefer the endorsement for this position be either granted to someone more worthy of our support or that the line should remain vacant for this position during the upcoming congressional race in 2022,” the statement said.
Kassar has said he will likely defer to the local Conservative Party committees in Katko’s congressional district when it comes to endorsements.
Katko, R-Camillus, won the party’s endorsement in his four previous elections for Congress, and consistently won more votes on the Conservative ballot line than on any third-party line.

The responsibility lies squarely with RINO-controlled state legislatures who refused to enforce voter ID or conduct a meaningful audit of the cheat-by-mail-in votes before electors were chosen.
Vote out every RINO who must face a primary in 2022 and replace them with conservative patriots who have been endorsed by Trump. It's the only way to take back our country.

Understand that Katko represents the most Democrat district held by a Republican. This probably dooms him when every seat counts. This would surely elect a Democrat who would likely be able to hold onto the seat.

People who voted Democrat in 2016 are leaving the party because it has gone bat-hit-woke-loopy-BLM-cray-cray.
Any Republican running needs to embrace the Trump America First agenda. It DID work in 2020. Trump won by a landslide, but for the cheating that was MADE POSSIBLE by RINO-controlled state legislatures.
It's the Democrats who should be afraid of close races with the country being taken over by woke mobs.
There are seats held by non conservative Republicans in districts (or states if Senate) that are blue or nearly blue. Susan Collins is the best example. No other Republican could have held that seat. I say she gets a pass. It’s not her failure to support MAGA. It’s our failure for not persuading Maine.
This Katko guy MAY or may not be similar or the same. Someone has to do that research.
This is not business as usual. There are plenty of filthy MAGA haters in red states and THEY MUST BE REMOVED. Specifically Romney. You MUST BE WILLING TO VOTE DEM in such red states in order to remove that type. And remove everyone in the party that tries to wriggle and keep him. Vote Dem in their districts, too. It’s worth 2 years or even 6 years of a Dem to teach treachery what Conservatism is.
