Thursday afternoon, the Arizona Democratic Party and County Supervisor Steve Gallardo sued to stop the audit from taking place.
Friday morning, Superior Court Judge Christopher Coury held a hearing on the request for a TRO (Temporary Restraining Order) to stop the audit. He ordered a “pause” over the weekend (until noon, Monday) IF the Democrats posted a $1M bond to cover damages if their case was thrown out. He ALSO ordered that the Senate/Ninjas produce their policies/procedures for conducting the audit and that they follow all state laws.
The State Senate filed an Emergency Special Action with the Arizona Supreme Court to overturn Judge Coury’s “pause”, among other things. The Democrats decided not to post the bond, so the “pause” was off the table and the audit could continue on Saturday and Monday morning.
This afternoon [Friday], Supreme Court Justice Clint Bolick heard arguments on the Special Action. He took no action, praised Judge Coury’s handling of the morning hearing, and ordered an updated pleading from the State Senate on Tuesday, responses on Wednesday, and a reply on Thursday. Either Justice Bolick – who is the “duty Justice” for the next week – or the entire Supreme Court will take it from there.
If you read the State Senate petition, they are arguing that the courts should not even be involved in the conduct of the audit. The State Supreme Court will decide by Thursday.
Agreed, the manufacturer will tell you the level of protection each mask provides.

No the question is “ why did you certify”. You should have known these were not real voters. You had the chance to put a hold on all of this by being brave on the 6th but instead followed the lead of Chicken Man Pence.
If the tables were switched and it was a Dem in that role who thinks that he/she wouldn’t have called for the legislatures if Dem controlled to take control.

I know it sounds like a strange request and you’d really need a STRONG stomach to put up with the incredible bias...

While I understand how unhappy folks are about vaccines, Covid treatment and medical diagnosis/prognosis, the thread isn’t the main focus with all of that. There are so many more places to discuss that.
Then, on the other hand, I don’t want to be the thread police, and we always post whatever we wish to post, but be aware of all of it and use your own desecration with all things, but think about the tangents we can go off on here.
The medias focus this week seems two-fold: Covid (still) and the Chauvin verdict.
In my not so humble opinion that’s a piss-poor news cycle cop out. Both topics have been beaten to DEATH.

Biden blinked and Putin, happy with the outcome, is now escalating down.
Cops have nowhere to go. They’re blanked if they do and blanked if they don’t. The BLM movement has jumped the shark. Enough. Knife fights are not just kids having fun.

Beside I think I had it in a mild form last year , pre current treatments , with two weeks of flu like / and now more refined Covid symptoms that wouldn’t go away but eventually did.

Where are the Reps defending the Jan 6 "insurrectionists" being held without bail by the justice system? Many are being held in solitary confinement. The only ones speaking up are Senators Warren and Durbin!!!
Most of the 300-plus people charged with participating in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot have been released while they await trial, but dozens of those deemed to be dangerous, flight risks or at high risk of obstructing justice were ordered held without bond. D.C. jail officials later determined that all Capitol detainees would be placed in so-called restrictive housing — a move billed as necessary to keep the defendants safe, as well as guards and other inmates. But that means 23-hour-a-day isolation for the accused, even before their trials begin.
And such treatment doesn't sit well with Warren or Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), two of the chamber's fiercest critics of solitary confinement.
“Solitary confinement is a form of punishment that is cruel and psychologically damaging,” Warren said in an interview. “And we’re talking about people who haven’t been convicted of anything yet.”
Reps are cowards.
