I have a much older gay friend (almost 80s) that has been on HIV meds for years. He says he really started being careful after the 80s and ended up getting it due to a robbery/rape, and I think it’s probably true because he seems to live a pretty clean lifestyle from what I can tell, and well, he’s made it this far. The antiviral drugs HIV+ people take are extremely harsh on the body, so if you’re also drinking, doing drugs, and getting lots of other STDs like many gays, you’re not going to have a normal lifespan.
I believe he and a French researcher both discovered HIV independently in a similar time frame.
There have been a lot of unpleasant side effects from the drugs. That’s not new.
Nature thinks you shouldn’t find another man’s ass attractive.
HIV hangs out in kidney, brain lining tissue, and inserts its genome into human cell genome. One may have a competent enough immune system with modern up to date treatment....but them little guys do other things that show up later. Didn’t see it at first, cuz patients died fast. It’s not something most really don’t want to have to deal with. Best avoided.
The lesbian cop did not die of hiv, she died of multiple myeloma which is very rare except in hiv+ populations.
They claimed that she helped bust an auto wrecking yard and was exposed to chemicals which must have caused her to contract the disorder...

I would guess that the people who worked in the auto yard also have had higher than average mult. Myeloma cases also. Doubt it. Someone shoulda checked.

Funny, when aids showed up on the scene so many bleeding hearts across the spectrum came out for the cause to make sure they were not discriminated against, to now drug commercials run on TV telling you if you have HIV take this drug and you will be undetected putting the general public in danger health wise. I just read a column from that “conservative” sodomite Andrew Sullivan in which he argues that face masks are the new condom, invoking a comparison with AIDS. Of course, being the raving leftist that he is, he is a strong advocate for getting vaccinated, even advocating in the piece that “proof of vaccination” should be required to go into restaurants, grocery stores, etc. it’s clear that he’s trying to exact revenge on society since he’s HIV-infected and wants everyone else “on medication” like he is.
