President Biden has nominated Montana environmental activist and Democrat operative Tracy Stone-Manning of Montana to head the Interior Department’s Bureau of Land Management.
Stone-Manning got her start in environmental activism as the spokesperson for the mother of all radical organizations — Earth First.
Only after entering politics did Stone-Manning claim she left the job because the monkey wrenchers were just too darn angry.
Who knew that ecoterrorism and arson had a dark side?

The culprit claimed to be an eco warrior for Earth First.
Stone-Manning was former Montana Gov. Steve Bullock’s chief of staff, and worked as an aide to that state’s U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, both Democrats.
More recently she’s been with the National Wildlife Federation, a fluffy-sounding group that pursues policies to lock up public lands from the public.
She’s the kind of nature lover who prefers trees to remains untouched by anything except wildfire.
Stone-Manning is too radical for the job, and Colorado U.S. Sens. Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper would serve the Western Slope well to say no to this nominee.
A total of three sites were hit, two in the county and one in the city. “Earth First!” was written in black marker on a pipe at one of the county sites and on another piece of equipment at the other county site...
