The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office in Virginia released body camera footage and 911 audio Friday night of the recent officer-involved shooting of a 32-year-old Black man.
The recordings appeared to show the deputy mistook a cordless house phone held by Isaiah Brown for a gun before the deputy shot him repeatedly.

As long as non-compliance is an acceptable behavior, the shootings, fighting and what seems like bad policing will not only continue but will escalate. 100% of traffic stops will be dangerous to the officer.

Might see one at the gas station or pass one on the road.
Talked to one 4 years ago when I hit a deer.
No crime here.
Most are armed.

We're not going to restrain police from defending themselves, which would expose them to being shot by whoever wants to shoot them. So let's take all of the police out of black neighborhoods and see how that works out. It would be like the violence in South Africa after the end of Apartheid.

I live in a similar small town and we have near 40% Black and 30% Hispanic population. Those numbers go up about 10-15% on Sundays because of visitation.
