The globalist donors to the Republican Party do not want populists. They want fakes who claim to be conservatives, but who will never oppose the Democrats’ socialist agenda in any serious way.

I can’t respond directly to your query what happened because as long as I have been aware of Flake he has been a self-aggrandizing force blocking progress on MAGA.
