Trump SAVAGES LeBron James For Threatening a Police Officer's Life

On Wednesday, NBA Lakers star LeBron James tweeted something that looked very much like an incitement to murder a police officer. James rushed to conclusions about the shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant, a black girl who appears to have been lunging at someone with a deadly knife when the cop shot her. James later took down the tweet, but he claimed that this shooting represents yet more evidence of systemic racism.

President Donald Trump took him to task on Thursday night.

“LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the League,” Trump said in a statement. Recent ratings are indeed at an all-time low after the NBA painted the politically-charged slogan “Black Lives Matter” on its courts. (While Americans agree that black lives do matter, self-declared Marxists lead the Black Lives Matter organization and many of those organizing under the Black Lives Matter slogan perpetrated riots last year.)

Of James’ remarks, Trump said, “His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our Country together!”

As my colleague Bryan Preston reported earlier today, LeBron James tried to stir up a mob against the police officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant.

“YOU’RE NEXT,” he tweeted with an hourglass emoji and the hashtag “#ACCOUNTABILITY.”

Lebron’s tweet was incredibly stupid. No doubt. But I didn’t see a threat to anyone’s life. Keep in mind, he posted this right after the Chauvin verdict along with “You’re next” and #accountability. That’s not a life threat, IMO.

If I were a lawyer I’d argue he posted it right after he shot a womam and she died. “YOUR NEXT” could relate to that as much as it could to the Chauvin verdict. Just need one crazy person to take it that way, after all.

Agree.

I am not in any way defending LeBron’s tweet, but common sense says that what he was alluding to was criminal prosecution, like Chauvin.

We don’t need to stoop to the left’s level, do we? This is the crap that they pulled on Trump for four years. Dog whistle this, and incitement that... all obviously out of context.

I can’t say I blame Trump for doing it though. It is as if to say “how does it feel to be accused of incitement?”

Sometimes you do. The battle is fought on multiple fronts.

Disagree. Posting the photo is doxing the subject even without the statement.

But I didn’t see a threat to anyone’s life

It implied the officer in Columbus would face the same as Chauvin. It was a threat to the cop's career and freedom. I think it can be easily implied that James was rallying his low-IQ's minions to do everything possible to make this officer's life a living hell.

Quite honestly, anyone that listens to James - tens of millions of his social media followers - have no place in my America. The NBA needs to fail and go away. People like James simply need to burn in hell.

It was at the least a threat to his livelihood. But posting something like that was designed to destroy the man’s life. He wanted him punished in the most severe way possible. Fired followed by life in prison. Killed? I’m sure James would have defended his killer.

Got no argument with that.

James ... claimed that this shooting represents yet more evidence of systemic racism.

I always agree with everything LeBron James says cuz he's (arguably) the greatest basketball player ever.

LeBron is totally right -- under Biden/Kamala, systemic racism has reached an all-time high, getting far worse with each passing second. As I've been saying for the past half year, the puppets Sleepy Joe Biden & Kamala Harris have generated the most "systemically racist" environment in history. IMPEACHMENT!

P.S. Pelosi & her House want to make DC a state. But what about Puerto Rico? That would add even more far-left Democrat House Representatives as well as extra Democrat Senators. C'mon, Pelosi, get your act together! We need to add at LEAST 10 more far-left liberal Democrats to the Senate! And we need lots more out-of-control immigration, too! Pssst ... Nancy ... let's make it so Republicans NEVER have a chance to win the Senate, House or Presidency ever again!

P.S.S. The far-left liberal Senate, Presidency, and House are operating precisely as expected. Nice election steal, guys! All Hail King Soros! ... (oh, and puppets biden & harris, too!) ...

LeBron’s tweet sounded like it came from an uneducated nincompoop anti-White racist, so I was not surprised.

In war, the enemy sets the terms of engagement. Playing by "the rules" is the clearest route to annihilation. Until the left begins to realize how much it can lose by its present actions, there will be no resolution.

Then you are not paying attention. ( I had to fight the urge to say something more volatile but I didn’t even though I found your post incredibly ignorant. You should have a discussion with someone like Reginald Denny. And today’s crowds are ten times worse).

This made me laugh out loud.
LOL thank you.

Some would say that Michael Jordan is thusly qualified to be always agreed with though. Not LeBron.

"But I didn’t see a threat to anyone’s life. "

It sounded to me like a call for mob rule charge and convict the officer whether he did anything wrong or not.

It's incitement, the boob is simply lucky to have fallen into the penumbra of Brandenburg v. Ohio by adding the hourglass. But Kang could be charged with a Federal interstate communication threat, even if it wasn't likely to stick.

Had Kang made the threat IN Ohio against the Ohio police officer, then OH Rev Code § 2903.211 would apply:

2903.211 Menacing by stalking.

(A)(1) No person by engaging in a pattern of conduct shall knowingly cause another person to believe that the offender will cause physical harm to the other person or cause mental distress to the other person.

(2) No person, through the use of any electronic method of remotely transferring information, including, but not limited to, any computer, computer network, computer program, or computer system, shall post a message with purpose to urge or incite another to commit a violation of division (A)(1) of this section.
