The International Olympic Committee has officially stamped out the idea of social justice protests at the 2021 summer games in Tokyo.
In other words, athletes who choose to kneel, raise fists in a sign of “power,” or take part in any other displays that signify social justice will be punished by the Olympics’ governing body.
“The IOC AC is very concerned about the risk of politicisation of the athletes and the risk that athletes may be put under external pressure,” the IOC said in a statement. “It is important to protect athletes from the potential consequences of being placed in a position where they may be forced to take a public position on a particular domestic or international issue, regardless of their beliefs.”

When it became a competition as to who had suffered most in

ducked out. No thanks.
I turned on the event to watch the various sports. I didn’t
need the offensive melodrama.
Meaning most Athletes from other countries. This obsession with racial crap is predominantly an American Obsession. Most of the other nations in the world are blatantly racist, especially against blacks, and they do not feel ashamed of this attitude at all.
The only reason it's a thing in America is because Liberal Big City dwellers have been using racism as a tool to keep themselves in power since 1860.
They don't actually care about racism, they just use it as a club to defeat their political enemies. This is one of the things that the liberal power structure learned from the Civil War.

Actually the Democrats political alliance of Northern Big City big-business & immigrant bosses with Southern slavers goes back to at least Martin Van Buren in the 1820s -- it's what Van Buren brought to Andrew Jackson's ticket in 1828 and gave Jackson an overwhelming victory that year.
That Democrat North-South alliance split temporarily by Civil War, then quickly reunited after the war.
It remained solid until, roughly, 1964 when Democrat Lyndon Johnson (of all people) decided to flip Southern descendants of slaves & reject the descendants of slavers.
Politically, that made sense since African-Americans were now the majority populations in most Northern big cities.
Republicans were always a very different group of people -- rural farmers, small towns, small businesses, skilled workers, suburban, professionals, traditional Christian values, pro-Constitution, pro-law enforcement & military.
We were the people who wrote & ratified the Constitution against opposition from Democrats and we continue to defend it to this day, against Democrats open warfare on us.
