Our classic 5A profile in a sleek black painted finish, featuring the #blacklivesmatter messaging and raised fist graphic. Crafted from premium USA hickory with a tear drop tip.
Spirit of Atlanta, we usually used Sabian. But one year we got Paiste for free. Left chunks of them on the field after every show.
I am sure, when DCI comes back, that social justice thing, banners, raised fists, the whole nine yards will all be integral parts of the on-field performances.
Failure to include those elements, being pushed by Leftist parents and sponsors, and screamed loudly by skull-full-of-mush idiot children in the competing Corps, will result in accusations of “Silence Equals Violence”.
Just watch.
I swear. This country is not going to last more than a few years longer.
As a former drummer, I find that...quite funny!
Sigh. One has to endure the “mental defective” tag as a drummer, but...we learned to embrace it and use it as a unifying component!

So it wasn't him personally. 8>)
There are plenty of lead guitarists who are dumb as rocks. Jackson Browne for starters. Lol.
Sand the end to a point and it’ll be a great weapon.
Guess I'll have to find something else.
“I prefer AA Meinl Byzance and Istanbul”
Do you a cymbal in those brands that would be equivalent to a Zildjian K?
I was about to purchase a 20” Zildjian K ride, now I need to check out some other brands.
I want something a little washy. Sort of that early Ringo ride sound.
Studies have shown that drummers, as a group, have the highest IQs in most bands.
Just for fun:
Ringo Starr? He couldn't swing if he was hanging!

Imagine having mental illness and a 170 IQ. That’s what you get with me.
I am going to take up drums just so I can boycott the company.
It is hilarious watching these corporations trip over themselves to be most woke when they are going to be burned to the ground by their beloved terrorist groups.
Istanbul cymbals was started by two cymbal smiths that made Zildjian K cymbals back in the day. Those guys have passed away now but the company still makes great stuff. I prefer Istanbul Agop. I would check those at your local drum shop to see if you like the sound. I prefer a pingy ride and use a 22 inch Istanbul Vezir ride.
Hmm. Nice kindling.
LOL, no kidding.
Really...I used to be a hockey player, and I loved the movie “Slapshot” especially because all of the cheap shot stereotypes...I love em!
As a drummer, I loved the portrayal of the drummer in “Spinal Tap”...:)
Same thing.
That saddens me. It used to be such a huge part of my life too, and I feel the same way.
Ah well. Whattya gonna do.
Glad I haven't played Vic Firths in years. I use Los Cabos Drumsticks out of Canada (eh).
