That's gotta be the most incomprehensible piece of medical jargon I've read in weeks. Nevertheless, while I don't quite understand it, I noticed this apparent inconsistency in usage:

It appears to me that those acronyms got swapped. Wouldn't ERD be "enhanced respiratory disease", and VAERD be "vaccine-associated enhanced respiratory disease"?

My non-medical interpretation

This article confirms the risk of ERD, and provides a tool to measure and evaluate the ERD risk.

My personal experience

My sister lives in a senior assisted living facility. She received both the first and second Covid-19 MRNA "vaccinations". One week after the second shot she was sent to the emergency room with severe breathing problems, and diagnosed with pneumonia (a quite severe ERD). She spent more than a month in the hospital and a rehab center, fortunately nearly recovered as of now, but with lingering breathing problems.

Any connection to the Covid-19 "vaccine"? Who knows???
