ISRAEL: IDF report that missile that triggered red alert over southern Israel was a SAM fired from Syria. Battery that fired missile has been targeted tonight.

According to the IDF Spokesperson, a Syrian surface-to-air missile was fired at an Israeli aircraft and instead fell in southern Israel. It did not intentionally target a specific site. In response, Israeli aircraft hit the battery that fired the missile and several others.

It was unclear at first where the missile was launched from. Several indications pointed to the missile being launched from Iraq, while according to other reports, it came from the city of Daraa in southern Syria following an Israeli airstrike.

Brig.Gen. Hidai Zilberman later told reporters that the explosion was due to the firing of an SA-5 surface to air missile that was fired towards Israel and that it exploded in the southern Negev.

The firing of the missile came during Israeli air strikes in the south of Syria. The missile was not directed towards any target, Zilberman said.

According to the spokesman, Israel responded to the firing of the SA-5 towards IAF jets by striking several anti aircraft batteries in Syria, including the one which fired the missile that exploded in southern Israel.

Earlier today, in Jerusalem, there were a bunch of Arab teens beating on Haredim on Jaffe Street. Police would arrest them, and some retard, leftard, brain-damaged-people-shake-their-heads-at-him judge kept letting them out, and they would just go out and attack more Haredim. My son happened to be on Jaffe Street, and saw an angry mob of Jews chasing after three of these youts and beating them, possibly to death. Don’t yet know how the media is dealing with this, and frankly, Scarlett, I don’t give a damn.
