George W. Bush describes today's Republican Party as 'isolationist and nativist', says the Capitol riots made him feel physically sick and is concerned Taliban will take advantage of US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan

George W. Bush described today's Republican Party as 'isolationist and nativist' and said it was not his vision of the what the GOP should be in his first live TV interview in three years.

The former president spoke to NBC's 'Today Show' as part of his book tour for his new tome, 'Out of Many, One: Portraits of America's Immigrants.'

In the interview he expressed his disappointment with the direction his political party has taken and the migrant crisis can be fixed with 'border enforcement with a compassionate touch'.

“We fought the GD war and they move in after we eff it all up.

Never got a GD thing out of it except boys and girls that either came home in caskets or without limbs and those that have mental damage.”

Not one of them had the Surname of Bush or was a member of the Congress.

These Politicians that want war all of the time should think twice before they commit this country into any battle.

The only way too do that is to have their children serving in a combat role at the point of the spear.

May be then they’ll think twice before doing something stupid.

Thinking that I once supported and voted for George W. Bush makes me physically sick.

I used to wonder why he never defended himself against the slings and arrows of the Leftists. I guess it was all theater. He was one of them after all.

**************

He allowed himself to become a punching bag. Now we know why. He shared the views of the other side.

I agree –it makes me sick to see the life of an innocent young girl snuffed out at the hands of an stubbornly-unidentified individual without any accountability…

It’s also sickening to see a Minneapolis church go up in flames as a “practice run” for the impending Chauvin trial verdict.

“Not one of them had the Surname of Bush or was a member of the Congress.”

Jim Webs boy was in the Marines. Jim Web was a democrat,,until he was basically kicked out. Tulsi Gabbard (SP) was in the military. Same thing happened to her. There are a few who were either in or had family in. No Bushes or McCains or such though.

But they sure liked to see everyone else’s boys and girls go off and get blasted to hell for a war that accomplished nothing.

It was either that or vote for Gore. Or Kerry.

At least the Ol Man knew enough to end a war. The kid didnt end anything.

Did not like either of them.

Should have never been in that war in the first place.

The events of 9/11 are on the head of the feckless Clinton administration. The events after are on Bush.

Bush had nine months, plenty of time. The Buck Stops Here. Certainly Clinton, Bush’s Brother from another Mother, bears some of that blame too.

The first Gulf War? Yes.

Why? Kuwait? What's so great about them? And Saddam was never going to invade Saudi Arabia.

Fourth largest oil reserves in the world.
Also, the displacement of Kuwait would have resulted in complete disruption of the Gulfs transportation of oil. Nearly ALL of the oil fields are located along that shore in that region. The majority at the region of Kuwait. ALL OF THEM!

And he was eyeing that region of the Saudis oil fields.

“Nonsense! Obama was as much a puppet as Biden is. Both are the puppets of a cabal whose objective is the destruction of the USA.”

Spot on. I heard a story in the Desert from a close well respected friend who work in the Whitehouse during the Clinton Administration.

They have all been puppets since Reagan. There is a group of people who backs pre-approved people who they can control (with blackmail and other stuff (Biden Son’s dirt)) in the primary on both sides (Democrat and Republican’s). No matter who wins their person is in the Whitehouse. They can call it a free open election. President Trump broke that strategy in 2016 so they fix the election in 2020.

Study your history of why Hitler started WW2 when he did.

Other than being a maniac, it wasnt because of the timing. It was because they were about to lose the economy of Germany. It was within a few weeks of collapsing.

So, he had to start the war-pick on the weakest first and pilfer everything that could be had from that country. His mistake was that he thought the UK would not declare war on Germany when they did.

The history is repeating right now.

Secession. Get clear of them before they drag us all down.

Hitler wanted war against Czechoslovakia, but the Brits gave him more than he expected, he was actually angry about it.

He wanted a decisive victory thinking it would force Britain and France to the negotiating table. He expected that after defeating Poland, didn’t get it.
