One of my most most cherished possessions is my bumper sticker I picked up at the 1984 RNC in Dallas from ‘84. It was Mondale and Ferraro vs Reagan and Bush. It says, “Vote Wally and the Beaver”.

I think it said for Mondale’s 90th. Maybe three years ago, if so.

He doesn’t seem that bad after what we’ve had since.

1. He kept his mouth shut after he left political life.

2. He was honest enough to say yes, I’m going to raise your taxes if elected president.

But unlike Biden, Mondale always seemed like a very decent guy.

He was still a ‘Rat, and therefore would have ruined everything, but at least he was decent enough not to have done it on purpose to line his pockets like Slow Joe.
