The Democrats want riots all summer long so they can continue to push their ant-police, anti-gun narrative. They don’t care who gets hurt.
If the judge thinks it is a problem, he should declare a mistrial. He should not wait for the appeal court to fix a problem. It is on him.
Maybe he is waiting to see if a guilty verdict comes back, then he declares a mistrial. I doubt if he has the balls for that.

Now that they are in deliberations I believe the jury was sequestered, but up until that point they were not so what is likely they have heard or read about her comments.
How is a new judge going to find a jury that is free of the taint of Maxine's threats?
He probably should have sequestered the jury. I think I read somewhere he didn't. But it's' still Maxine's fault. She should be charged with Jury Tampering.
The judge should just acquit him saying that it's impossible for him to get a fair trail.
This is only the latest of things that has happened that would make this a miss trial in my opinion. For example, refusing the change of venue is a huge issue. That should’ve been enough in my opinion.
