House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.) on Monday said Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) has nothing to apologize for in response to criticism from Republicans over remarks she made in Minnesota over the weekend.
"No, she doesn't," Pelosi said when asked by a reporter if Waters needs to apologize for saying activists for racial justice need to "get more confrontational" when advocating for police reforms.
"That woman on the floor should be apologizing for what she said," Pelosi then said, referencing comments by Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), who spoke shortly after Pelosi gaveled the House into session for the day.

And yet it was the same HAG, who hammered at Donald J. Trump that he incited his crowd to storm the Capitol Building. I am one confused constituents. Those low hanging fruit from her District in California that elected her also need to be held accountable. They need to go to HER house and make some noise.

A Republican who just accidentally were to brush past that kind of an extremist would be railroaded out of office by the media.

Because when they are not being the Stupid Party, Republicans are the Cowardice Party. You make an excellent point. There is overwhelming power in solidarity, especially in government, but the Repubs just leave the few courageous voices out to dry, to become targets for the left’s most vicious attacks.
If a large contingent of Republican would do what you say, it would neutralize the targeting effect of the left, they couldn’t address ALL of the so-called “infractions” equally, so they could not do anything. It would send a powerful message, but Republicans want to play nice by the rules while Democrats kick sand into our faces.
