A Minnesota National Guard and Minneapolis Police Department neighborhood security team were fired upon early Sunday morning in north Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at around 4:15 a.m., a light-colored SUV fired shots at a Minnesota National Guard and Minneapolis Police team who was providing neighborhood security in the vicinity of Penn Avenue and Broadway Avenue.
No members of the team were seriously injured, said police.
The Minnesota National Guard stated that two National Guard members, a man in his 30s and another in his 40s, sustained minor injuries from the incident. One National Guard member was taken to a hospital to receive care for lacerations from shattered glass. The other Guardsman received only superficial injuries.

From what I’ve seen, Ramsey county (St. Paul ) has done a good job of keeping the riots from spilling over into their county. In fact the Sheriff himself, Bob Fletcher was out stopping rioting. And he was also livestreaming it to facebook and youtube.

They were ‘afraid’ you would get the wrong message if they said a DARK colored (surprised they even used that) SUV.
Funny, I have been driving SUVs & Pickups all my life and I have never had one run up over a curb or do any other such dire acts even when I am in it...
Also, my gun has never randomly fired itself.
I used to think I was psychic when I would pull up to construction arrows or a flag man and the other lane was full with them trying to get in MY lane until I realized I had seen the warning signs for the last 1/4 mile or so.

I stayed up until midnight a few weeks back ‘watching’ him work.
I guess they will wait until they take some lethal casualties before they fire back with live ammo. If they’re allowed to do so even then.
If I were an MPD cop I’d move my family now and let the city survive without any police to see how they liked it. Or stay and become a target ? No f’n way.
Tough love for Minnesota nice, but it appears that’s what’s required.
