Well what Ignorance, there is no Immunity with the vaccine, it confers no real benefits except maybe for certain people and even those would be over 75, or more like 80 or85.
Otherwise you can still get the virus and you can still transmit it.
Last week I had a discussion with a friend who thought I was dangerously foolish to get on with my life after having survived Covid. She doesn’t believe I am safe because “a lot of people get it repeatedly”.
I’ve been to three local walmarts. None are enforcing the ‘masks required’. About ten percent are not wearing masks. I expect that to grow as more realize what’s happening.

I got my first shot of the Moderna vaccine on March 25th.
I felt lung inflammation on Friday April 16th after going to Wal-Mart the day before despite mask wearing.
It went away after a few hours but I am staying home.
I’m pretty sure I had some level of natural immunity from meat and bouts with what I think are the original version and its UK variant.
The Friday bout might have been from the California variant.
I now suspect the vaccines may not work as well as we may like or need.
I will get my second dose of the Moderna vaccine when offered, which should be about 10 days from now.
I still think mask wearing on public transport and in busy stores and until you can be sure nearby diners are not sick is appropriate even for vaccinated persons.
I guess Rick has been paying attention!

I act like a person in my late forties who can get a nasty bug and survive like I always have with the annual flu. The risk/benefit analysis pushes against an experimental vaccine for my age group. The good news is the vax appears to be working.
Despite pleas from Brazil, Nigeria and South Africa, the Biden administration does not appear to be developing a strategy to limit the spread and the creation of new variants within those countries.

Absolutely. I got vaccinated (twice, Pfizer) because I thought it might make people in a volunteer group I run feel more secure. Personally, I didn’t care and I was never worried about getting the dread Covid...if you do, you do; but most of the time you’ll recover from it or not even know you had it...and I regarded the vaccine as just like the yearly flu, which I get sometimes and sometimes not. It doesn’t seem to make a major difference either way, but I do it to keep my health plan happy.
But as soon as they saw people who really cared about the vaccine were getting confident, they had to rev up the panic again.
I have seen all these recently vaccinated people who were congratulating each other suddenly coming back with their masks again and staying away from events.
So yes. If you’ve been vaccinated, challenge them: “why did you tell us this was so important and now you say it doesn’t matter?” Stop the panic.
Due to Joe Biden, possible variants from Central America and Mexico are likely to be spread nationwide in short order.
