I did go to a TAP Plastics store today and the aisles were shut to shoppers. I could’t believe it — are they thinking this is June 2020? You have to tell the clerk what you want and he goes and gets it for you.

I didn’t watch this video but in the 1960 version of the Time Machine (George Pal one) the timid, weak Eloi people heard a siren and said “Oh, it’s all clear.” Leftover from our era of bombings.

The mask rules and lockdowns of today may have led to the evolution of the malleable and cowering Eloi starting with today’s “I will obey Fauci.”

So can’t Fauci envision all clear for Covid? Maybe never.

The traffic north of Gay Frisco has been bumper to bumper since the middle of March.

It took a HUGE uptick about three weeks ago in the East Bay and down here on the peninsula. I’ve been commuting over to Concord to help my daughter with her new house. It went from smooth-sailing to gridlock stop and go in a couple of quick weeks.

I hate to say it, but that year-long respite from traffic was really nice. AND our parks were completely empty from March to July 2020, then people discovered they could go enjoy the outdoors. Now they are chock full.
