Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Plans to Sign ‘Anti-Riot’ Legislation into Law
Breitbart ^ | 16 Apr 2021 | AMY FURR

Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R-FL) staff members said Thursday he is set to approve an “anti-riot” bill that will impose more severe criminal penalties on violent protesters after it is finalized.

The governor unveiled the proposal in September and advocated for its passage while protests devolved into violence and looting “This legislation strikes the appropriate balance of safeguarding every Floridian’s constitutional right to peacefully assemble while ensuring that those who hide behind peaceful protest to cause violence in our communities will be punished,” his office said.

“Further, this legislation ensures that no community in the state engages in defunding of their police,” it continued.

Reporter Forrest Saunders tweeted a photo of DeSantis’ statement, writing, “His staff saying he looks forward to signing the bill into law”:

The Fox report continued:

Aside from the enhanced criminal penalties for acts of violence during a riot, the bill contains a measure requiring state approval for any change to a municipal budget that would reduce funding for police. The clause was a response to calls to “defund the police” after the death of George Floyd last May. HB 1 institutes a felony charge for the destruction of a memorial, flag or other historical structure. It would also hold local governments civilly liable if they interfere with law enforcement efforts to respond to riots.

“Rights have limits, and violence is where the line is drawn,” Republican Sen. Danny Burgess told the Associated Press (AP). “This bill is about preventing violence.”

In regard to those involved in violence, DeSantis said in September, “These are people that will come from all across the country. If there’s any type of issue, they all of a sudden show up in all these places.”

“We’re gonna figure out who’s organizing and who’s funding that and hold them accountable,” he concluded.

“After the vote, Farmer and several other Democratic senators donned black shirts to mourn what they called the death of the First Amendment.”

Those nitwits either can’t read or didn’t read the part of the First Amendment that only protects “the right of the people peaceably to assemble.”

Bet the paid protesters demand more money so they can pay for the bail.

Anti-riot?

It’s already a violation of the law.

Arrest
File Charges
Prosecute
Convict
Incarcerate

Think of them again in 10-20.

We don’t need no new stinkin legislation.

Sounds like an excellent bill...

Only thing missing is funding to replace a citizen’s ammo after silencing any rioters...

If you have an old pickup with a snow plow attached, now would be an excellent time to leave that northern state and move to FL...

The Deep State is noticing.

Ron DeSantis Questions COVID Vaccine Messaging – If You Get a Vaccine But Still Have to Social Distance, Wear a Mask and Isolate Then What’s The Purpose of a Vaccine

April 16, 2021 | Sundance

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis asks the obvious question today during a press conference in Lakeland, Florida.  When asked a question about COVID vaccine delivery the governor said “the messaging is terrible.”  Adding, “you’re telling people to get a vaccine and yet people that have been vaccinated for months are wearing masks” …”I can’t square if the vaccine is effective, then why are people wearing masks?”

Additionally, “If you get a vaccine, and the vaccine is effective, your immune; and so act immune.”  “If you tell people the opposite then, gee, why if it’s not effective for them, and it doesn’t change anything for them, then why go through it?”  The common sense remarks about the issue begin at 14:50 of the video below:

RIGHT NOW: Gov Ron DeSantis holds news conference with Department of Economic Opportunity

Common sense is something the entire country seems oblivious to amid the COVID narrative.

[Side noteAll major corporate media have dispatched their most combative reporters to trail DeSantis at all his speaking events and venues.  It is transparently obvious why national media are trailing him around… they fear his growing influence and are working 24/7 on strategies to take him down.  Quite remarkable actually.]

If it isn’t obeyed it will be ENFORCED.

If not by the Florida National Guard then by Florida State Marshals leading 10,000 armed militia volunteers.

If the local sheriff refuses the governor’s orders he can be removed from office, or the governor can send a State Marshal to do the job.

It doesn’t matter what the sheriff does.

With a population of over 600,000 Sheriff Judd could get 10k militia volunteers with ease in Polk county.

That’s equal to the entire Florida National Guard in one county.

The Deep State opened a can of worms by giving a state the opportunity to demonstrate its power.

The states must become the national power and lessen the power of Babylon on the Potomac.

The third new crime is cyberintimidation by publication, sometimes called “doxxing.”

It prohibits a person from electronically publishing another person’s personal identification information with the intent to incite violence or commit a crime against the person or threaten or harass the person, placing the other person in reasonable fear of bodily harm.

This should be a crime at local levels: city/county/state and at federal levels if state boundaries were crossed electronically to DOX an individual.

First each state needs to set up their standards before civic action becomes a riot:

What classifies as a riot?

Definition. A concerted action: (1) made in furtherance of an express common purpose; (2) through the use or threat of violence, disorder, or terror to the public; and (3) resulting in a disturbance of the peace. Under common law, the crime of riot requires the assemblage of three or more actors.

"If Trump doesn’t run in 2024, Ron looks like the guy."
Or, if Trump does runs, DeSantis would be an ideal vice president (if not the other way around) and be in line to be the next candidate. He's young enough.
