On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” host Chris Cuomo scolded Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for not wearing a mask even though Cruz has been vaccinated, by saying that vaccinated people can still get infected because the vaccines don’t provide 100% protection against infection. Cuomo also stated that even though an extremely small percentage of the vaccinated population have gotten infected, “the only way to keep the number down is to listen to science. They all know it. They’re just playing politics, and people are dying.”

Still wandering around in the fever swamp. The whole point of vaccinations and developing heard immunity was to get RID of the almost useless masks, which only serve to incubate and exacerbate the effects of various respiratory pathogens that are within the confines of the mask, and are breathed and rebreathed into the respiratory passages until such numbers increase to the point as to make the wearer ill and even may require hospitalization.
And not necessarily for COVID-19 Wuhan virus alone.

I cannot understand why anyone would listen to that jerk.
He doesn’t need a mask. He can just continue to go around with his head up his butt.
I think vacs are good for people that want them. I also think people who have had it or are vaccinated should take their masks off w/o retribution.
He needs to see if there’s life after death.
Never listen to someone who says, “Follow the science!” who ALSO says, “Men can get pregnant!”

Who on FreeRepublic is calling for masks plus the vaccine? I’ve seen one post to that effect. And is anyone on FreeRepublic calling for mandatory vaccines? I haven’t seen it!

Hardly. I know of no pro-vaccine persons on FR that also support mandatory masking. I certainly don’t.
They’re saying the vaccine does not work. You cannot believe anything these people say.
That’s the nicest way I’ve ever heard that sentiment expressed.
I hazard to guess a very high percentage of that 100 have not been vaccinated previously which means at this point in time the reinfection rate is infinitesimally low if you do not get the vaccine.
No, if someone feels not taking the virus if fine for them and they make the decision based on the stats we have and feel comfortable self insuring, that's fine with me. I would not compel anyone to take one and I wouldn't discourage anyone if they wanted one, it's a free country.
Then you need to get out more.
