Publish verified facts, with people willing to stand behind those facts.
Publications that release information (even in good faith) which is later found to be untrue should be liable for judgments in the tens of millions of dollars.

It’s probably a lot worse than that. This thing is one of the most successful hoaxes in history. It got civilization to shut down, made millions of people clamor to stick experimental vaccines on their arms, and got a senile old crook “elected” President.
He can’t be that much in the know if he thinks that Trump was voted out.
To summarize: The media complex is made up of activists! They have an agenda. The agenda is to promote their doctrines of beliefs. They believe that we the people are the enemy and we deserve to be punished and ostracized from society. They are the DNC. They are exposed as instruments of an activist force to destroy the Republic by all means necessary. They willingly follow the lead of their overlords.
Someone needs to sue and create a new tort called “journalism fraud.”
What is going on is way beyond New York Times v. Sullivan. There shouldn’t be any legal protection for phony media who can be demonstrate to have faked coverage and reporting.
