Dana Walden, the chairman of entertainment for Walt Disney Television, recently said during a panel discussion that ABC passed on 'some incredibly well-written scripts' because they did not meet its new diversity standards.
Walden made the comments during panel discussion titled 'Women in Focus: Women, Big Tech and the Future of Hollywood' put on by Chapman University and Glamour on April 9, the Hollywood Reporter revealed.
Last year, the outlet reported that ABC was calling for at least 50% representation of 'underrepresented groups' in regular and recurring characters - as well as with writing staff and producers.

“Walden admitted that ABC even passed on one show about a white family that would have included a diverse cast of friends and neighbors. ‘Pass. That’s not going to get on the air anymore because that’s not what our audience wants. That’s not a reflection of our audience, and I feel good about the direction we’re moving,’ she said.”
Horse crap. At least 75 million voters and their kids would probably be interested in quality, traditional Disney fare, but you’d rather tear down western civilization, you vile witch.
The District of Columbia seems to have more than 12 percent black folks.
What the left doesn’t understand is that the more they alienate people from products, the less those people will need the products. I don’t have any desire for Disney products anymore, including Star Wars and Marvel movies. I am quite happy to limit myself to internet imagery of the upcoming Marvel movies, just to see what Kang, Galactus, Silver Surfer and Beyonder look like in the movie-realm, but I have no need to see their movies.
There is no amount of money that Disney could spend to generate my interest enough to pay to see the movie itself. They are putting themselves out of business and I’m ok with that.

A smart lawyer could honestly sue these guys and get a nice settlement out of it since he’s basically admitting publicly that blatant discrimination in the workforce which is illegal is part of Disney’s company now

Yep. I loved the first two seasons of The Mandalorian, but after they got rid of Gina Carano for being a conservative, I have no desire to see the third season or anything else from that universe. My interest is just gone. Reached that stage with Marvel movies many years ago.
They also incredibly, at least for awhile, seem to be dropping Baby Yoda. He was the primary draw of the show for many.
It’s a bold move, but could seriously backfire.
Also they’re staring up like 10 other Star Wars show, which is real bad. I only have any interest for the Obi-Wan one. 2 or 3 shows, fine. 11-12? Yikes!
Just don’t watch.
I’m sure the shows they pass on would be garbage also.

A “ quality written script” is a joke. Its one mans opinion. IE “modern family” is a quality show.. ive never been able to watch a compete episode. Its horrible.

If this is possible I am actually feeling ashamed and embarrassed for these apologetic cowards. They are so petrified of standing for fairness, real fairness and equality and so terrified of being cancelled at some future dater for something they may have said or done 25 yrs ago that they are preemptively apologizing so they will be among the last thrown to the alligators.

The remaining third and fourth tier advertisers tend to sell to minorities and old white people who cannot or will not bridge the "digital divide". ABC Disney knows their remaining advertisers will not pay top dollar for programming that won't bring in a top spending audience anyway.
My favorite was in Avengers: Endgame. Vision needed special neurosurgery to remove the Infiniti stone, so they had to go to Africa to get it done. I thought that was the best comedy I had seen in years...
Makes sense. For thousands of fans, the Carono insanity driven by insane leftist harridan Kathleen “THE BESTEST EVAH” Kennedy was the reeking, festering pile of feminist excrement that overwhelmed any potential entertainment value gained by watching. Many just couldn’t turn the show on any more since politics tainted any enjoyment of the subject matter.
