Federal prosecutors will not charge a police officer who shot and killed a woman as she climbed through the broken part of a door during the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
Authorities had considered for months whether criminal charges were appropriate for the Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt, 35, an Air Force veteran from San Diego. The Justice Department’s decision, though expected, officially closes out the investigation.
Prosecutors said they had reviewed video of the shooting, along with statements from the officer involved and other officers and witnesses, examined physical evidence from the scene and reviewed the autopsy results...
The Justice Department does not bring criminal charges in most police shootings it investigates in part because of the high burden for prosecution. Criminal charges were not expected in this case because videos of the shooting show Babbitt encroaching into a prohibited space, and second-guessing the actions of an officer during the violent and chaotic day would have been a challenge.

“Based on that investigation, officials determined that there is insufficient evidence to support a criminal prosecution,” the department said in a statement.
“Oh, and besides, the victim was white.”
SAY HIS NAME
Pelosi needed a shooting and killing to make this look like an armed insurgence. This was Pelosi’s fall guy, patsy. We will never know who he is .... part of their agreement. THERE AS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO WILFULLY SHOOT AND KILL THIS LADY. There is a reason Pelosi kept the walls up and thousands of guard in the streets... She was scared people would do what should be done.
And, didn’t the Antifa instigator, who helped Ashli to the window, then ran and changed clothes....go scott free?
Deceased in MN was moving away from LEO. Ashli was “advancing” into a secured area. OR some BS they may or may not spew. Obviously they don’t feel they need to provide any manner of justification.
Looks black to me:

Easy.
The Capitol officer *intended to kill Asley Babbit*.
The Minnesota officer did not intend to kill the person she shot. She intended to Taser them.
Now that is rich coming from the cop hating AP.
Wonder why we know he names of ALL other cops involved in duty shootings?....this was no surprise...no charges could have been stated on day of shooting...BS
Sure. That’s heavy. Make sure we pick up hand truck before we go to the HVAC department.
She jess one o’ dem wypipo....she doan madder
Frankly all around her and who lead the way could be charged. It’s like 2 guys who enter a grocery store with the intent to rob it and one of them gets shot by the store owner or accidently by his partner, etc. The other perp can be charged in the death since it occurred in a crime to which he was a party of.
There is no justice in this country.
She could have been pushed out of that window with one hand.
How was she a danger that needed to be shot?
Why are we paying all these lawyers and judges?
Just ask the Democrat Party for their ruling.
No part of the U.S. government is trust worthy.
5.56mm
Anyone who still supports the Democrat Party has a criminal heart.
The video I saw had Ashly outside the glass door when the officer shot through the glass and dropped her.
Or female. Is this the same standard used in Minnesota?
Sweet. We can take my truck. Unreal that there are riots all over for criminals getting killed while resisting. Whether it’s accidental or not. But this guy gets away with shooting this white women veteran and no charges and not naming the shooter to protect him. I would wager he maybe black. And there will be no riots from the “red neck supremacists”. This will go away like the Boulder shootings.
The news media is a farce, and the reporters writing this drivel need to have a real insurrection come down on their heads.
