Law enforcement officials with Operation Safety Net reported 'many arrests' were made Tuesday night following protests in Brooklyn Center and surrounding areas.
Demonstrators have gathered in the city for the past three nights to protest the shooting death of Daunte Wright. Wright was shot and killed Sunday by a now-former police officer during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center.

Without question.
Point being, last year Trump was President and these cities could not be brought to enforce the laws by...at a bare minimum...arresting people. Making some modicum of a show of force, willingness to protect the public at large.
Now that Xiden and the anchor baby are in power, they make a half hearted attempt to put a damper on the "festivities" so as to try to prevent things from spiraling out of control. "Optics" and all that.
