HUNGRY McDonald's customers were met with a brutally honest sign explaining why their Big Mac and fries might be a little late.
The branch in the United States went viral after a small yellow sign that said their staff "didn't want to work anymore".
Above the order here instructions, the sign read: "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did not show up. No one wants to work anymore."
The blunt note was spotted by Brittany Jade on TikTok and posted a video of the hilarious sign.
"Y'all. Our McDonald's is savage AF," Brittany wrote in the caption.
In the comments to the video, many have shown their support to over-worked staff.
One person wrote: “So true, don’t get mad at the ones there working. They aren’t the reason it’s short-staffed.”

Heck I remember wanting to make more money so I worked five jobs at one time including my full time job....Brutal hours and work but I was bringing in the dough.........one of which was driving scissor lifts and mounting steel t-bars and I'm a petite 110 lb. gal! Only did that for six months because you can't keep it up indefinitely.
Yep.... I have heard and seen the same thing with contractors.
My nephew started up a successful electrical contracting business. His staffing shortage extends into journeyman level. It’s way too infrequent that he gets a hardworking, reliable and ambitious apprentice or journeyman. When he does, he treats them like gold and mentors them to higher electrician trade levels. Good and steady performance gets nice $$$. Masters license gets damn good $$$ and contractors license hits jackpot $$$.

I washed dished when in HS. $1.55 an hour. Eventually became a busboy, food prep, then started learning short order and all in less than two years age 14-15.
Always had a job in High School. Learned a lot about the work ethic. My bosses were WW-II and Korean war vets.
Jim gets called back as a contractor at 3x+ his pay as an employee. I’ve seen it a lot.
Is your nephew Upstate New York? I know a kid graduating high school with 2 years of BOCES in electrical classes looking to become an electrician. He’s a farm boy and knows how to work. We don’t have a clue to find out he gets to be an apprentice. Any advice would be helpful.

A friend who owns an electrical contracting business offered 10 of his guys double time plus $100 bonus to work the weekend recently.
Three (3) took him up on the offer. Other 7 said no thanks. THAT is so disgusting.
When we were young, we worked a full time job, took every bit of overtime we could get, had a part time job, too. Now that we’ve saved a nice amount, Bite Me wants to take it all.
