HUNGRY McDonald's customers were met with a brutally honest sign explaining why their Big Mac and fries might be a little late.

The branch in the United States went viral after a small yellow sign that said their staff "didn't want to work anymore".

Above the order here instructions, the sign read: "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did not show up. No one wants to work anymore."

The blunt note was spotted by Brittany Jade on TikTok and posted a video of the hilarious sign.

"Y'all. Our McDonald's is savage AF," Brittany wrote in the caption.

In the comments to the video, many have shown their support to over-worked staff.

One person wrote: “So true, don’t get mad at the ones there working. They aren’t the reason it’s short-staffed.”

I know they are putting them on bluebird buses and shipping them all over the country because I saw it myself at a hotel in New Hampshire.

Who is paying for these buses???

None of the fast food / quick service workers where I live look at their phone except on break. I’m in a position to know. Would only happen during slow hours when a customer hasn’t come in for some time, but usually they would be cleaning then. Demographics in a local area make a HUGE difference. And no gross things end up in food here, nor fights at drive window.

” 20 years dedication in an office environment.”

That is getting to be a lesser and lesser occurrence.

One of my sons is in the top tier of his tech field and gets at least one job offer a month from head hunters or from people he has worked with in the past that have moved on to other companies.

In the past 10 years he’s worked for 4 different companies with the longest stint being 5 years with the first one that he started with out right out of college.

Oh I pitched in. My mom took four years to die of cancer and had a six pack of younger siblings. I saved a little and gave a lot. Started working to clear my head and give back.

I did years of construction, went to college twice, became an RN.

But those early days earning my first per hour wages taught me how to do a job right, take pride in what your were doing, accountability; so very much learned.

It’s too bad we’re seeing a serious regression in America. Lord bless in your work. You’ll find a way.

My father has been using the same plumbing outfit for 40 years. Seven years ago when I first started handling things for him the plumbing teams were one of the experienced guys and a younger Angelo guy. In the past 3 years the younger guys have all been Mexicans.

It’s tough when the government is competing with business.
It’s a crock.

Inflation skews peoples perceptions of cost/value. Especially older people who remember when $15 was a lot of money.

But $15/hour is not much money these days, especially when many of the jobs are not full time because the employer doesn’t want to pay benefits.

$15/hour for 30 hours a week is less than 2000/month. These jobs are suitable for Seniors trying to stretch SS or Students but not for someone who has to support themselves or a family.

In life you get what you pay for.

$15/ after tax is only $8/ and throws you off the freebie train.

Try finding a drug free literate with reliable transportation third shift weekend factory worker.

Those jobs should be for teenagers who just need some spending cash, it should not be a career, to support a family.

The corporations that pinch pennies are giving $200,000,000 to professional Leftist agitators who don’t even work on behalf of these companies.

I called my local airy Queen to see if their dining area was open to the public. The person who answered the phone was the manager and he told me they can’t open it up due to a lack of workers. Alaska has no covid restrictions in place, just a shortage of people wanting to work.

And they were never meant for that. If your goal in life is to work your way up to the drive through window at Wendys then you shouldn't expect to do too well.

As a Doordash driver, I have seen several restaurants over the past few days that are short-staffed. I have not asked why, but I suspect that many would-be workers DO make more money staying at home.
It is too easy to be lulled into being lazy, especially since there is so much fuel for the temptation to do so.
I would do it as well, since I am by nature a lazy person. But, I love what I do, and it’s more fun to drive around delivering food and whatnot than sitting on my ass all day long, surfing the Internet.
