We learned yesterday that Daunte Wright’s death in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota occurred after Wright wildly fought off the arresting officers, only to have an officer mistake her gun for her taser. The complete absence of information about Wright’s cause of death didn’t stop the usual suspects from going to war against their own community, looting and destroying property. However, unlike last year, the escalation against the police is getting more vicious because people are being encouraged to dox police and threaten their families.
Let me break down the multiple points in that opening paragraph:
1. If you watch the graphic bodycam footage, which the police released on Monday, Wright struggled violently. The female officer whose bodycam you’re watching intended to taser him because she can be heard screaming, “Taser! Taser! Taser!” And then she fired her gun. This has happened before, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
It’s impossible to know whether Wright’s immediate cause of death was due to stupidity, carelessness, or a pure mistake. I can imagine myself making the same stupid mistake in the heat of the moment. Perhaps the answer is for tasers to start being manufactured in unmistakable fluorescent colors. Fundamentally, though, one can say that, had Wright followed the number one rule of not resisting arrest, he’d still be alive. Sometimes police are just evil in their cruelty or stupidity, and sometimes they are humans who are panicked or overwhelmed.
2. BLM showed up on the scene immediately and people started the usual looting and rioting.
3. A man with a bullhorn announced a new tactic in dealing with the police. As you may recall, in Portland last year, federal agents, who were being brutally attacked, hid their name tags because Antifa was trying to dox them.

They are also publicizing how to dox police and their relatives in order to harass and intimidate.
Tasers are made in fluorescent colors, from what I’ve seen.
YEP. Black Lives Matter has now adopted the doxing approach.
In the video, the assembled crowd is told to “go to the Brooklyn Center police page, website, and go through the officers that are on duty” in order to identify each one of them. Then, armed with that information, they are told to hunt them down on social media, capture pictures of their families, and threatening them in their homes.
Pure mistakes don’t happen in a vacuum. I would expect that an urban police force would have some kind of training and practice or periodic qualification test to have the officers know, UNDER PRESSURE, the difference between a Taser and a revolver. Any experts on this thread who can shed some light on that?
That poor officer was under more stress than she could handle. Evidently her training was poor and she lost it.
I feel sorry for her.
If you live in a future failed Democrat State, you need to consider relocating your family to a safe non Democrat State.

After watching the video, it appears that the Career Criminal made a bad choice when he decided to try and break free and run. Why should anyone even care?

LEO firearm qualifiers aren’t always held in high pressure situations. Tactical training courses are offered and attended by LEOs who want to be better shots or are qualifying for something like SWAT, but training occurs under a variety of models.
In every tactical training course I’ve taken, you are instructed to wear your weapon where you always do. Don’t deviate. You want to develop that muscle memory to always go to the same place, because in a stress situation, you want your subconscious to do the work. You aren’t thinking clearly enough to make fine motor moves, and the difference between 1:00/2:00 and 3:00/4:00 has to be ingrained. Otherwise, you get situations like this.
She was reacting to her training. This is muscle memory. It’s unfortunate that she said anything about making a mistake. She was protecting her life, and her training did what it was supposed to do.

The problem is, the good guys will be flooded with refugees from the politically screwed up states that will come and bring their screwed up solutions. Its happening in FLA, the refugees from the Left Coast and NE have already invaded. Now the goal is to get rid of De Santis and install a Cuomo or a Newsome. They will do anything to get the power, anything! I’m a first generation America, why did I have kids, to leave them a future 1984 state? Thanks for the info. It sounds like the optional training you mentioned needs to be more wide spread. In my career in disaster recovery and business continuity the mantra was always, “it’s not a plan until it’s been tested.” The point was not to pass but to get the experience of what can go wrong and what to about it.
