School’s address: 2800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue

Regardless if the city, it seems nothing good ever happens on streets named after MLK.

My sympathies for that students family, and for the people at that school today. Either weapons were not properly locked up or he stole whatever guns were used. Maybe he left notes online about why.

What if people believed there was a Supernatural force that punished evil In an afterlife somehow? Maybe they’d be less inclined to do evil things? Naaah... that’s just superstition. /s

No less superstitious than believing mankind “always gets through calamity”.....or that mankind is “good”

Many believe, but many fail to apply laws as originally prescribed. Many idolatrous nations have written and attached their inputs, and many people ignore some of the original laws in favor of their libertine preferences or identity vanities. Easy to do so by muddling up a good belief system with metaphors and idolatrous practices, concepts and attachments or blendings of extraneous, false deities.

Knoxville's Austin-East High School shooting: What we know

Still know beans about the perp, including his age.

And, BTW, per the link, this wasn't a school shooting.

Snort.

The answer to stop the mass killing of children-keep them locked up at home! /s

I believe it was Malcolm X who said if he wanted to find the “colored” neighborhood in an unfamiliar city, he would ask the cabbie to take him to Abraham Lincoln High School.

Either weapons were not properly locked up or he stole whatever guns were used.

The idea that all weapons should be locked up when not in immediate use is not valid.

For most of history, weapons were never locked up. They were always available.

The idea they should be locked up is just part of the indoctrination to make us believe "guns are bad".

Mass spree killings are mostly driven by the Media.

Push the Media onto another topic, such as Covid 19 or Orange Man Bad, and the number mass spree killings will drop.

Most academics who study the subject now understand this.

"For most of history, weapons were never locked up. They were always available."

When I think of colonial America and our founders, one of the visuals that comes to mind is the musket over the mantle . It was accessible to any household member who could reach it. Modern efforts to push the locking away of firearms are intended to convince people that, "guns are bad," but any degree of critical thinking will lead to the conclusion that in general, people are no longer as disciplined and responsible as they once were.

Yes,
During the Orange Man rule, there were almost no mass killings. Now they are happening daily.

any degree of critical thinking will lead to the conclusion that in general, people are no longer as disciplined and responsible as they once were.

There is truth in that, but there is also truth that more people know more about relative risks and safety than they did a hundred or two hundred years ago.

Before the Left weaponized statistics (fairly early) there was a period when facts actually mattered.
