A police officer in Virginia has been fired after pointing a gun at, and pepper spraying, a black US army lieutenant during a traffic stop.
Army Second Lieutenant Caron Nazario is wearing his uniform in bodycam footage of the incident, filmed in December.

They pulled him over guns drawn for
Tinted windows and a not visible tag
He had a dealer tag....
Man wtf were they thinking...it might help if we saw the first part of the video....it’s not beyond possible the black guy said something (ive done that when young) to set them off.
Anyhow....I don’t like the politics ...I know cops have abused whites and I know the race stats on cops shooting folks
But if we sticks to just what we see here

Criminals on probation should wear body cams too... It’s time for this concept to open up to all groups that might make ‘mistakes’ that could endanger another’s life.

in many of my traffic dealings with LEO... i was once pulled over for taking a turn too cautiously...
i told him next time i would try to get it up on two wheels. have a great day officer.

Some are ok....some are dicks
I don’t like the militarization and think it should be forbidden by the brass
Combat boots,web gear...way too many work guns....they are simply too jacked up in some jurisdictions
If you want military cops then go through the constitutional format and do that...
On the other hand....policing black areas has to be a wear down

After assaulting a member of the armed forces the dummy is lucky he only got fired.
However don’t make a hero of an idiot either - lieutenant dummy deserves a courtmartial for conduct unbecoming not a million bucks from the taxpayer.
Which ones? As many have already pointed out, he was getting contradictory "lawful orders" from 2 different officers, both with guns pointed at him. By walking up to the car with guns already drawn, the cops had already escalated the incident and once they pointed the weapons, they gave the driver reasonable cause to believe his life was in danger if he made the wrong move. So if two people pointing guns at you are telling you to do different things, which is the "wrong move" that will get you killed?
From what I saw, he was also worried about getting out of the car. The cops were in full on hostile mode, barking orders with their guns pointed and aimed.

They have their trigger fingers extended per standard safety practice.
They try to unlock his door but he has it locked from the inside.
The ahole was provoking the dogsqueeze out of them and actively resisting.

What you describe is reasonable. But after watching the whole video, it doesn't seem to describe this guy's behavior or attitude. He didn't roll down his window to put his hands out when they asked him to. Overall, every single thing he did, and the way he did it, seemed to scream "jerk" and "sneak." Those aren't crimes, but they sure create a dangerous atmosphere for both sides.
Seriously, if, as some said, the guy couldn't get out as they finally told him to do (because he'd stalled them on everything else), and his seat-belt would keep him from getting out, he could have told them that.
