This guy has been one of Trump’s strongest allies in Congress, there were rumors about him running against Rubio in a primary. Rubio is a GOP-E poster boy. This comes out, Trump endorses Rubio and then refuses to meet with Gaetz? That dog won’t hunt. If DJT truly wants to drain the swamp, he’s not acting like it.

I am giving Gaetz the benefit of the doubt, but those are not persuasive arguments. That said, his denial of being with a 17 year old is a bit too lawyer-like. Why not deny sleeping with underage, period?
The Gaetz “investigation” came out of the DOJ Smear Division.

Frankly, I think Gaetz is simply being “framed” and is probably innocent of doing the things he’s being accused of now. That said, I agree that President Trump should not put himself into this mess. He can endorse Gaetz, or not, when Gaetz is clear of the allegations.
Yet there are stealth Never-Trumpers here who are all too willing to believe CNN.
