I leave it to you to decide why, from the Trayvon Martin case to the George Floyd case, the media has so consistently misrepresented the facts. Whether it is that unskilled reporters are covering these matters, or that the press is simply looking to attract consumers with florid tales, or that the media looks forward to destroying urban areas with false tales of murderous white racists (amid a shortage of real ones), I cannot say. But it was shocking to me to get letters from heads of very good independent schools who had bought completely into the initial media accounts of an out-of-control white cop deliberately murdering a black suspect in his custody. It occurred to me then that if people like these could be sold the false narrative, officer Derek Chauvin was surely in for a judicial lynching.
Once again, I turn to Legal Insurrection, which has consistently provided the most detailed and reliable accounts of high-profile trials and warn readers away from the AP, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and TV and cable news if you have any respect for truth. (I’d also note that it is my experience that reporters’ deadlines often conflict with the way trials proceed, so that too often the prosecution (or in civil matters, the plaintiff) case is presented just before deadline and the cross examination occurs too late to be covered in that day’s edition, leaving only a false, one-sided version of the day’s action.)
There, a highly skilled defense counsel, Andrew Branca, has been monitoring the trial and has posted so far nine daily accounts of the trial proceeding. Like me, Branca feels the publishing deadlines overvalue the direct testimony and underrate cross examination.

PING!
Is this trial verdict going to be the spark that ignites the city mass violence around the country?
Previous city violence was orchestrated from above; we have horrible cities here in NJ, but they were quiet. Little left to destroy, and nobody listening anyway.
The video is damning evidence, but Chauvin’s attorney, a one-man show, is doing a heck of a job introducing reasonable doubt as to the cause of death. Over the course of the trial, I’ve moved from basically a -0- chance of a hung jury to a jump ball.
If they suspect anything other than a Guilty verdict, they will release the names of the jurors
This not necessarily directed at you, but it must be nice to make a living writing about what other people write about. A person could save themselves some time and go directly to the source.
Yes, the implied threats of both doxxing and riots are forms of unpunished jury intimidation and tampering. America has entered a stage of judicial anarchy.
YEs, that is where we are now - though I don’t know the media wants to play up any backlash. As with Obama, they’ll want to maintain the illusion of a successful presidency; they certainly don’t mention that BLM was born in the second term of our first mulatto president.

Former N.Y. Jets player Phillip Adams kills 5, including 2 kids, then himself in South Carolina mass shooting: police
Is already a non-story. Heard last night the air conditioner repairman died, so that makes SIX killed.
.
Where’s the outrage against violence against whites???? Why no calls to boycott the nfl???
The media wants to see cities burning so the democrats can justify reparations in the fall.
Regardless of the outcome I suspect there will be a lot of
crowds out in public celebrating or protesting. Could be
more damage. JMO
Murdered by Huey Lewis' Black Panthers back in 1974. Huey Lewis was later sheltered by Castro. (as an aside, Incident led to David Horowitz famously changing sides from radical left to the right, which later led to credit card companies to stop processing payments to his conservative think tank). Newspapers at the time and since then have covered up the murder.
Note the last line in the Wikipedia article: "FBI files investigating Van Patter, likely inquiring into her death, have been destroyed for reasons the Bureau has declined to provide."
My point - these tactics are nothing new.
Surprisingly Baltimore had little rioting. Some of it was that the ferals destroyed everything already. The other part was that the police had surprisingly good rules of engagement.
A friend of mine was in the middle of it and was armed with a very accurate pepper gun with which he expended copious rounds to encourage rioters to leave.
Too many windows open - I meant to post that to another thread.
The correct nomenclature for the new condition is Africanized Tyranny
Black Americans are the vehicle being used to push tyranny to complete control. Guilt ridden and gullible white women swallow the message whole
excellent article!
Kneeling on a perp’s back and shoulder are accepted forms of control, and Floyd had already forced the cops into a combative situation 3 times. Watch cops? First 48? How many times have you seen cops use this technique? My husband and son are LEOs and they have used it. It is taught in the academies. It IS non-lethal.
Chauvin is not a doctor and could not have known the idiot was overdosing, even as he resisted them. Add to that the threatening crowd building around the cops, I don’t blame him for not noticing this.
At what point, during the 9 or so minutes, were the EMTs called? And how long did it take them to get there?
Chauvin WILL be found guilty. The jurors who are NOT sympathetic to the self-serving communist BLM are going to be too afraid to rule fairly. They don’t want to be doxxed, attacked, or have their homes burned down around them. And BLM WILL riot, no matter how it turns out. Nothing like looting for high end free stuff in the name of “social justice”.
The city rushed to give the “family” 27 million tax dollars. A family with no contact to the point that Floyd’s son didn’t even recognize him as his father when he saw him on TV. And how much of the 27 million was squeezed out of the “family” by the parasitic lawyers and BLM? Enough to help the founding female leech buy her multi million dollar mansion in CA?
This is a huge stinking pile of dogsh*t that can be smelled all over the country. Floyd died because of an overdose of fentanyl (Chinese?) and a lifetime of poor choices, NOT because of a cop’s knee on his back. And Chauvin’s lawyer has a solid gold basis for appeal and mistrial. Wanna bet you won’t hear much about THAT in the corporate media?
