How Ivermectin works against COVID

"How does Ivermectin work on COVID-19? For the SARS-CoV-2 virus to make you sick, it has to first infect your cells. Then while inside the cell, the virus makes heaps of copies of itself, so it can spread around your body. The virus also has ways of reducing the way your body fights the infection. During the infection of the cell, some viral proteins go into the cell nucleus, and from here they can decrease the body’s ability to fight the virus, which means the infection can get worse. To get into the nucleus the viral proteins need to bind a cargo transporter which lets them in. Ivermectin can block the cargo transporter, so the viral proteins can’t get into the nucleus. This is how the scientists believe Ivermectin works against SARS-CoV-2 virus. By taking Ivermectin, it means the body can fight the infection like normal, because its antiviral response hasn’t been reduced by the viral proteins."

Good to know. Thanks for posting.

I use ivermectin to prevent lungworms in sheep. I was wondering what it could be doing against a virus.

I went to I believe the CDC’s website about a week ago to find information on this drug. I think all I found was a plurality of claims trying to discredit it and perhaps even indicating it’s just for vetinarian purposes oddly.

It is claimed that ivermectin is a zinc ionophore. The two must be taken together. Zinc is cheap enough to take along with the cheap ivermectin. The ivermectin transports the zinc to the virus to render it incapable of replicating I guess.

Zinc can’t accumulate well enough o. It’s own to be effective against covid, th3 cell membrane preventing zinc fro getting inside the cell.. so,it needs a transporter to get to where it’s needed, inside the cell, and this is where things like ivermectin, hcq quercetin etc, ionophores, come in, if I’m understanding it correctly, helping the zinc to get inside to deal with the virus thereto turn off the viral replication.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

But bottom line, one should take zinc along with ivermectin, or hcq, or quercetin or whatever.

I’ve got a syringe style Ivermectin dispenser for horses and cattle but I’m good at math and have used it plenty if times on 60-100lb dogs as does everyone around here because it’s a lot cheaper than buying dog sized. What I’m not sure of is if there any other ingredients that might be harmful to humans.

They make Ivermectin in pill form for humans.

A relative gifted me a syringe of ivermectin horse wormer (apple flavored) as an emergency fallback (I’m good at math, too). I’d try myfreedoctor to get the pills before going to the paste. What really stinks is that there ARE treatments like ivermectin, but these are being suppressed in favor of the “vaccine” (I’ll spare you my personal opinion on that subject).

I’ve read that the ‘other stuff’ in the vet ivermectin is negligible. It’s just not as ‘pure’ as medical iver is. Many folks around the world have taken the vet iver because it is so cheap. It ‘may cause’ things like upset stomach, diarrhea, but I didn’t experience any of that and took it for several months, twice a month. But a person needs to do their own research. Not take my experience as a,recommendation to take it. I decided for myself that it was a fairly benign risk to take the vet iver. After reading about its use around the globe, 3specialy in poorer parts, for many decades.

You can find sites discussing the impurities of the vet stuff, and which determine that there nothing to worry about, but I’m also sure there are sites which poo poo the use of it in humans too, so one has to weigh all the info and decide for themselves.

Studies meant to prove HCQ ineffective never include zinc. Zinc is key.

The pills, run about $100 for 10 I think it is, and you need about 3 I think it was, for the average sized person, so that works out to around $100 for 3 doses. You are su p posed to take it twice a month, some take it even more, once a week. That would get very expensive in a hurry.

Yup. The medical realm are directly responsible for 10’s of 1000’s of deaths. Those who fought tooth and nail to poo poo the use of proven effective life saving cheap drugs when options were very li itted at the time, are truly very despicable people.

ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO KEEP YOUR RESISTANCE UP & FIGHT COVID -19.

ANYONE IN REASONABLE GOOD HEALTH ADHERING TO THIS SUGGESTED REGIME SHOULD SHAKE THIS VIRUS QUICKLY AND ALONG WITH IT WILL AQUIRE NATURAL IMMUNITY.

There are other ways and means to enhance your resistance against viruses including that by now infamous covid-19 virus aside from taking any of these “Quick” developed vaccines utilizing a messenger RNA. So far science has not evolved far enough yet to be certain how the human body will react many month or years down the road once we start tinkering around with our RNA and how our bodies will react should we encounter mutated strains of similar viruses.

Below is a list of vitamins as well as nutrients suggested by a physician to enhance your resistance, they are harmless and even beneficial to your body unless someone goes crazy and over doing it. Even so they will NOT protect you from getting any specific viruses; neither will any of those new “QUICK” developed vaccines. But not only will they make you more resistant but also help you to overcome the effects of such a virus more quickly, should you have bad luck getting it. And once you are over it, your natural immune system will take over and protect you considerably better than any vaccination, this according to a statement by Merck. The CATCH is to have these vitamins/nutrients in your system BEFORE you think you have caught this virus, as time is of essence so your system starts fighting the virus BEFORE it gets a chance to do any damage.

A suggestion to the wise, take some time and read up on each of these suggested components which is freely available on the internet.

Vitamin D — Vitamin D supplements are readily available and one of the least expensive supplements on the market. All things considered, vitamin D optimization is likely the easiest and most beneficial strategy that anyone can do to minimize their risk of COVID-19 and other infections, and can strengthen your immune system in a matter of a few weeks.

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) — NAC is a precursor to reduced glutathione, which appears to play a crucial role in COVID-19. According to one literature analysis,7 glutathione deficiency may actually be associated with COVID-19 severity, leading the author to conclude that NAC may be useful both for its prevention and treatment.

Zinc — Zinc plays a very important role in your immune system’s ability to ward off viral infections.

Like vitamin D, zinc helps regulate your immune function8 — and a combination of zinc with a zinc ionophore, like hydroxychloroquine or quercetin, was in 2010 shown to inhibit SARS coronavirus in vitro. In cell culture, it also blocked viral replication within minutes.9 Importantly, zinc deficiency has been shown to impair immune function.

Melatonin — Boosts immune function in a variety of ways and helps quell inflammation. Melatonin may also prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection by recharging glutathione11 and enhancing vitamin D synthesis, among other things.

Vitamin C — A number of studies have shown vitamin C can be very helpful in the treatment of viral illnesses, sepsis and ARDS,12 all of which are applicable to COVID-19. Its basic properties include anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, antithrombotic and antiviral activities. At high doses, it actually acts as an antiviral drug, actively inactivating viruses. Vitamin C also works synergistically with quercetin.

Quercetin — A powerful immune booster and broad-spectrum antiviral, quercetin was initially found to provide broad-spectrum protection against SARS coronavirus in the aftermath of the 2003 SARS epidemic,14,15,16 and evidence suggests it may be useful for the prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 as well. Not only that but quercetin also acts as an ionophore for zinc similar to hydroxychloroquine, in a matter of speaking it will unlock the cells to let the zinc where it can attack the virus .

B vitamins — B vitamins can also influence several COVID-19-specific disease processes, including17 viral replication and invasion, cytokine storm induction, adaptive immunity and hypercoagulability.

SUGGESTED DOSAGE

All components as suggested are individually obtained and freely available and if used with some common sense are not harmful and if anything beneficial to your health. However it is a good idea and highly recommended to read up on each component, as there is plenty of information available on the internet. You may be surprised to find out and learn about the many benefits they provide to your health.
Here is a suggested approximate dosage for each.

Vitamin D 1500 IU

Malatonine 3mg to 6mg suggested about one hour before you go to sleep.

QUERCETIN 500 mg to 1000 mg

NAC 500 mg to 1000 mg

Zinc 50 mg

Vitamin C 1500 mg or MORE !! but always should be to two three times as much as NAC

NAC 500 mg to 1000 mg

Vitamin B complex

Well I take fish antibiotics so ...

Price has gone through the roof on them but still cheaper than a doctor’s visit. Don’t need a doctor to tell me I have an infected cut or tooth.
