I never understood why people started hoarding cleaning products. Don’t most people have bleach, ajax, lysol, etc. under the sink?
When all of this nonsense started my coworkers were hysterical about finding wipes. I said, make your own, there’s some videos with good ideas like cutting a roll of paper towels in half, using an empty coffee can,and a simple recipe for a cleaning solution.
They looked at me like I was crazy, I said you should already have these things in your house! Paper towels are wasteful, use dishcloth for cleaning around the house, save the paper towels for when you’re out and about. Again, the looked at me like I was crazy.
I tend to grasp the cart just outside the plastic handles on the chrome part where it curves forward.
Haven’t been sick a day in 4-5 years. No colds, no flu. We had them a lot for a while when my wife went to work for a nursing home and then it just stopped. Guess we’ve had them all. We don’t do the flu shot either. Did once and it was worse than the flu so we said screw that. I’ve always worked right through the flu. Might taken a couple of days off work so I didn’t give it to everyone else but I still kept busy doing stuff. Never been one to stay in bed or lay on the couch.
The exception is when I broke my leg and had a compound fracture of the Tibea and shattered the fibula. I stayed horizontal a few weeks for that and peed in bottles because getting vertical was excruciating pain as the blood flowed down the the leg. I was off of crutches earlier than the recommended time however and went back to work with a cane. I had good insurance at the time, including accident insurance and was still getting paid a living wage from that but I liked working. Probably could have been considered a work-a-holic.
Cuts grease and takes off any polish or wax you put on a vehicle.
Our local grocery installed a mini car wash for grocery carts. Employees pushed the carts through while they were sprayed with disinfectant. The device now sits idle. I personally am sick of all the plexiglass that separates you from any personal interaction ...reminds me of visitation rooms in prisons.
However, the masks, worn by the faithful and brainwashed as assiduously as magic amulets, are particularly irksome. Wearing them outdoors is ridiculous and when most are worn improperly, rarely if ever washed or even changed they are of dubious value at best.
So, does this mean the obsessive hand-washing is BS too?
Go wear your face burqa and leave others alone, fascist.

I was judging the product by its packaging, of course.
I worked in an ER that was filled with this virus before anyone even knew anything about it. All we knew was that it was super contagious and it killed people and it was probably a biological weapon. I put my face burqua on and went to work in that environment every single day while pansies like you insulted me and played the macho tough guy behind their keyboards. I had coworkers hospitalized with this “scam”. You’re so brave hiding behind your f keyboard machoman. I hope you can detect just how little respect I have for you and for people like you. The TOS don’t allow me to say it as clearly as I’d like to.
OBTW, the sewage pipe in my neighborhood has a defect in it, so it blocks up every five or so years from animal fat waste. That last time they were pumping it out, I talked to the guy pumping it out and he said to pour a few ounces of simple green every month down the sink and that would help/prevent future clogs.

When I go to Walmart, or any other store with shopping carts, I wipe down the handles and small basket and anywhere I might touch. Nothing to do with covid, really. I just know how most people, especially men, rarely properly wash their hands. I live in cattle and horse country, and those cowpokes can get pretty grungy.
