(No search return for this specific header) President Joe Biden put forward executive gun controls Thursday to fight what he called “an epidemic” of gun crime across the country.
CNN quoted Biden saying, “Gun violence in this country is an epidemic.” He went so far as to describe it as “an international embarrassment.”
The president then put forward executive actions which included initiatives in four areas Breitbart News highlighted on Wednesday. Those were new restrictions on “ghost guns,” a push for red flag laws, recategorization of AR-15 pistols, and DOJ-led research into gun trafficking.
As for red flag laws, Biden said, “We know red flag laws can stop mass shooters before they can act out their violent plans.” He then directed the Justice Department to publish model red flag legislation that states can adopt.
He did not mention Colorado has had a red flag law since January 1, 2020, but it did nothing to hinder, much less prevent, the March 22, 2021, Boulder attack.
Biden also addressed AR-pistols with stabilizer braces, saying, “We want to treat pistols, modified with stabilizing braces, with the seriousness they deserve.” He suggested having a stabilizing brace on a pistol “makes that pistol a hell of lot more accurate” and “more lethal.”

He might as well sign an EO silencing all speech while he is there.
It will accomplish NOTHING except enrich a bunch of lawyers and piss of the small number of democrats who are gun owners.
It is unconstitutional and unenforceable.
I truly believe that Biden has crossed the line.
What are we going to do about it?

I took down my Rebel flag (which you can’t buy on EBAY any more) and peeled the NRA sticker off my front window.
I disconnected my home alarm system and quit the candy-ass Neighborhood Watch.
I bought two Pakistani flags and put one at each corner of the front yard.
Then I purchased the black flag of ISIS (which you CAN Buy on EBAY) and ran it up the flag pole.
Now the local police, sheriff, FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, Secret Service and other agencies are all watching my house 24/7.
I’ve NEVER felt safer and I’m saving $69.95 a month that ADT used to charge me.
Plus, I bought burkas for me to wear when I shop or travel.
Everyone moves out of the way, and security can’t pat me down.
If they say I’m a male wearing a burka, I just say I’m feeling like a woman today.

I’m sure the talking heads will be talking a lot about the danger of ghost guns, and why this is such a good move. I wonder if any of these talking heads had ever heard of a ghost gun.
EA’s have zero force of law, they are nothing but suggestions to Congress about what laws he would like to have. An Executive Action EA id worthless.
The illegal EO (but then his occupation of the office is illegal too so there’s that) needs to be struck down. Obviously un-Constitutional, obviously an over-reach with the Executive branch trying to enact legislation by fiat. (ie. Dictator level tyranny)

Notice they tend to shy away from pistol related gun control laws.
He’s already on record stating that he can’t ban “assault weapons” with an EO.
He does this as state legislatures are drafting and passing bills to nullify federal gun laws and the NFA, in their respective states.
Gonna get interesting. It seems like some of these state legislators are channeling their inner Donald Trump on some things. IE....no problem telling CornPop to pound salt up his a$$

As someone said on FR ages ago, guns cause crime in the same way that spoons cause Rosie O’Donnell’s obesity.
There’s no such thing as gun violence, gun crimes, and so forth. That’s all part of the corruption of the English language as perpetuated by the brain-dead albeit “woke” left.
