President Joe Biden will be signing an executive order on Thursday to ban “ghost guns,” a direct assault on the 2nd Amendment.
The executive order may also involve action against “assault” weapons but it is currently unclear at the moment if the order will involve this.
“President Joe Biden is expected to unveil a long-awaited package of executive actions to curb gun violence Thursday at the White House, according to four people familiar with the plan,” Politico reported on Wednesday. “Biden will direct the administration to begin the process of requiring buyers of so-called ghost guns — homemade or makeshift firearms that lack serial numbers — to undergo background checks, according to three people who have spoken to the White House about the plans. He is expected to be joined at the event by Attorney General Merrick Garland.”

Can hardly wait for the tsunami of GOP politicians coming out of the woodwork and filing a zillion federal lawsuits...
Just like the communists do...
Definitely not going to hold my breath...
Unless they get cover from at least a handful of RINOS, those RATS from pro-gun States are at risk electorally if they vote for any gun control legislation. They need RINOS to sign on or the bill is dead. Their only option would be to put gun control into revenue legislation and use reconciliation. That will cost them the House and Senate so until 2023, EO is the safest option.
Might as well ban murder while he’s at it.
HB1 takes control of elections away from States and will immediately conflict with State laws.
requiring buyers of so-called ghost guns - homemade or makeshift firearms that lack serial numbers - to undergo background checks

So the feds are going to dive into the inner cities and force gang and cartel members to undergo background check before they buy that ghost gun out of Pedro’s car trunk? Crips and Bloods hardest hit.
What part of the word, “infringed,” does Biden not get?
He is as stupid as one can be.
...so who is pulling Xiden’s strings..?
Will America submit? Nope.
If he eliminated ghosts first, then there wouldn’t be any ghost guns.
Don't expect the Supreme Court to deal with this.
Try enforcing that one. I assume he means 3D printing of guns.
Do you really think SCOTUS will uphold the Constitution?
You can't be serious, Lee
That’s pretty bizarre considering he was elected by ghost votes.
Somehow, I think we need someone more along the lines of Charlton Heston holding a rifle, saying, "They can have my guns when they pry them from my cold, dead fingers!" instead of LaPierre saying, "Thank God I finally felt safe!"
President Joe Biden will be signing an executive order
XX
“that eo is not law
and technically only applies to employees of the executive branch”
It can be done. This is what Trump did with bump stocks:
“President Trump signed a memorandum instructing the attorney general to regulate the use of bump stocks, effectively banning the use of the devices that can allow rifles to mimic automatic weapons.”
Trumps order was recently ruled unconstitutional by the Sixth Circuit court. I like to believe he knew that would happen when he signed the memorandum.
seems to me that a couple States with Big Balls and True Character could put a big damper in Joe and the Ho’s plans for Gun Control. Think about this for a minute, if done by the State Legislature and Signed by the Governor it would be a lot of fun and fireworks.
